I'm pretty sure navigation can be added now. I've been playing around with FDRS and FORScan and have turned on navigation so it shows up on the touchscreen as one of the buttons along the bottom. I knew when I touched the button I would get an error code but it's just because our apim is not a nav unit. Should be able to swap one from the Bronco Sport and just program our vin in and Nav.

I'll go ahead and delve in further but pretty confident I'll have nav as soon as I can track down a nav apim.

I'd also like to see better quality material used. I find the interior panels are easily scratched and I baby all of my vehicles.

Does this have the multi-fuel option as well: fully electric, hybrid, diesel, gasoline, hydrogen and rocket fuel?
I certainly hope every conceivable colour option is available as well.
And can they try to get it closer to the $20000 that was promoted? I might be willing to go as high as $22000.

Thanks... I bought an apim from Ford from a Bronco Sport and already programmed it to my truck's VIN and as-built data. She has nav now.

What is the benefit of OEM Nav? I've used them before but since using Android Auto the last couple of years I feel like they've all been very much inferior to Waze and Google Maps in interface, traffic and route info and with Waze, hazard and speed trap info? I am trying to figure out why some people want factory Nav on the Maverick or would go out and pay for a module that I'm sure isn't cheap just to use what I consider a very inferior nav system.

I simply prefer oem upgrades. Besides having more oem factory upgrades helps a lil with resale value... bit not my reason for doing them. Imho nothing wrong with the oem nav systems

Wow your right, I never thought of that. Thanks for reminding me. My 2005 Canyon had a key start, 1 key fit all locks, including the glove box. The Mav has a push button start with a fob. I like to lock the glove box, in case my truck gets broken into, they won't be able to see my registration with my address on it, to go rob my house since they know I'm not home.

If they bad guys (gals?) are willing to break into your truck, a glove box lock isn't going to stop them from opening the glovebox.

Used to be you couldn’t sell a truck without a long box bench seat stick option

And built in nav is critical for a good chunk of the population

Where I drive my cell doesn’t work, having a working built in nav is wonderful and you aren’t supposed to play with your phone while driving anyway

In a nod to the Honda Element, I would love to see the Maverick with removable rear seats and some sort of flat floor configuration.

About the only thing I agree with there is the 60/40 split on the rear seat back and bench. Everything else are bells and whistles that I didn't really want anyway. They trimmed fat/cost out of the Maverick, and it had to come from somewhere. My F-150 had a lot of those things, and I never used them. My wife's Expedition has CP-360, and it annoys the crap out of me. ::grumpy old man noises::

@fordvideoguy built intrigue with his statement during the members only lot walk video on Saturday that the Ford Brand Manager watched and acknowledged Tim's MY23 changes video and confirmed some of the 12 items will be MY23 options.

@fordvideoguy reiterated the facts during last night's E42 live stream. I expect the split back seat and the break up of the XLT and Lariat Luxury packages will be locks for the list.

It's gratifying to know that customers and E Commerce Managers at a dealerships have the willing ear of Fords higher up decision makers.

I agree with posters who mentioned a revamping of the order-to-driveway process. The consensus is that dealership employees and scheduling personnel are the weakest links in the process. I gained a better understanding of the 15th of the month snapshot procedure @fordvideoguy explained last night and how it determines each individual dealership's monthly allocations.

I've built a professional understanding with a local Ford general sales manger and Tim Bartz. I know both of them know their stuff and are willing to do what it takes to earn a customer's business. These people can (and will) hold their employees and co-workers accountable and I will purchase vehicles in the future from Long McArthur and take my Fords to the local shop for warranty and recall work.

Since Ford and it's customers have learned valuable lessons about the order-to-driveway process throughout MY22, MY23 will have less curves, detours and U turns in the future. I've talked to at least a dozen Maverick and Bronco owners and know the ease and difficulty they experienced from start to finish. Last year Broncos were as scarce as Mavericks in the wild. Now I see multiple Broncos on streets and lots.
