  1. 355 days later, my truck has finally been built.

I doubt it. Ford cut off ordering for a reason.
  2. Rear View Mirror Upgrade

Very good relationship with my local Ford dealer and they're not going to "void my warranty" for splicing into a wire, please stop spreading unwarranted fear. 16 hour days 7 days a week seems like a wasted life. By the way, never seen a gated community in my area but then again we don't have...
  3. Question about pre-order / order changes

I have an XL ecoboost awd with 4k tow and I do mid 30s on highway and currently averaging 28mpg on my 95% around town tank. I suspect that people regularly get into boost or, one thing I noticed on the Maverick is that as soon as you go over 70mph on the highway the fuel mileage starts going...
  4. Rear View Mirror Upgrade

Sounds cool but to save $125.00 I have no problem just splicing the three wires that took about 20 minutes to do. I don't have a gate to my "mansion"
  5. Long Distance comfort

I'm just over 6 feet tall and the bottom seat cushion is very short. It's to the point that the end of the seat cushion only supports about 2/3rds of my upper legs which means there's a pressure point and it cuts off blood circulation. Also, I find that the seat does not move far enough back for...
  6. Rear View Mirror Upgrade

No clue but I think it's from a 2012 model year. It synced up instantly with my garage door openers and works perfect.
  7. 355 days later, my truck has finally been built.

I seem to remember someone being adamant that their order was being pushed to a 2023........once again, don't believe a word that comes out of your salesman's mouth. You know how to tell when a car salesman is lying? Their mouth is moving.....
  8. Boo-Urns! Say it aint so! No 'mo 2022's being delivered!?

It's win win for them. If your Mav is delivered after August they get one for dealer stock. If not, they still get a sale. They may have also hoped you would just throw in the towel and purchase something else from them.
  9. Hybrid Toyota RAV4 and Prime reliability, call for a class-action lawsuit

I posted about this a couple of months back when a commentor claimed the Rav4 hybrid he purchased was far superior to the Mav. My sister in law had this exact issue and her Rav sat in the shop for 2 months waiting for the parts to repair. Ever since she got it back her fuel mileage has been...
  10. Bronco Sport TPMS for Maverick

Tire shop will have to figure it out but I would bet that there are no TPMS, it's pretty easy to break the bead and pop out the TPMS to swap over and why would someone pay potentially $200 for new sensors when they can just be swapped over for nothing.
  11. Rear View Mirror Upgrade

You'll get it, I got the confirmation too, after about 5 days of nothing I emailed them and they said "We can't ship without a VIN" I replied I don't have one it's not for a Kia and they said sorry we don't warranty parts that don't have a VIN provided and I had to explain to them that I don't...
  12. Boo-Urns! Say it aint so! No 'mo 2022's being delivered!?

This is just speculation on the dealer's part, by no means is this fact.....
  13. Bronco Sport TPMS for Maverick

Most people don't sell their Bronco Sport wheels with TPMS, if they buy new wheels they transfer the TPMS sensors from the factory wheels to whatever wheels they purchase. Maybe that's why you're seeing it.....
  14. RESOLVED: The Mystery of the Disappearing Coolant

If it was leaking from the block heater there would have been plenty of coolant still in the block/system and you still would have seen a puddle underneath.
  15. RESOLVED: The Mystery of the Disappearing Coolant

You're thinking of the old block design. It's been updated/fixed. Right now the hybrid motors seem to be the duds. Also, there are two plants for the 2.0L ecoboost motor, fortunately the ecoboost in the Maverick is made in the Valencia Spain plant which has always been rock solid for quality...
  16. Rear View Mirror Upgrade

No clue what model and year but it's the whole mirror, mount, wiring, even comes with the required wire splice connectors, soft foam tape to keep connectors from vibrating and zip ties as well as instructions on how to calibrate the compass and program homelink.
  17. 2023 Ford Maverick - 12 Changes We Need

What is the benefit of OEM Nav? I've used them before but since using Android Auto the last couple of years I feel like they've all been very much inferior to Waze and Google Maps in interface, traffic and route info and with Waze, hazard and speed trap info? I am trying to figure out why some...
  18. Bronco Sport TPMS for Maverick

Bronco Sport uses the same TPMS as the Maverick, you should be able to just swap the wheels and it will automatically recognize the new tpms after a few miles of driving
  19. Rear View Mirror Upgrade

No, three super easy splices into dome light wires
  20. Rear View Mirror Upgrade

I recently ordered A7062-ADUP1 from https://worldkiaparts.worldoemparts.com/ and even though they gave me a hard time about not having a Kia vin number to provide they did ship it. I think for $13.XX plus shipping it's hard to beat. The autodimming feature, the compass and the homelink (which...
