Yes, the front window of the topper is removable for accessing the sliding window on the back of the cab. The topper is held on with 4 clamps that can be relatively easily removed, and then disconnect the wiring harness. It weighs around 250 lbs IIRC so not something you'd want to take off and...

Wondering what your feelings are on the Toyo's as far as traction goes. The pirelli scorpions that came on mine aren't cutting it on snow and ice. i'm torn between them and the Wildpeak Trails.

No, they don't put racks or rails on the topper. You could install them yourself, but void the warranty.

I put mine on about 2000 miles ago - my average mileage went up by about .5 MPG (2.0L eco-boost), but I also put the roof racks on at the same time.

Yes - it ends up sitting on the cross bars, and the back end of the canoe rests on the back of the topper. I ended up getting some foam pads to put under the gunnels so it doesn't rub. I haven't taken any pictures, but it works well.

The snug top/Ford licensed topper. So far I have no complaints or issues. the only water i've had has come during a car wash, and coming around the tailgate (not through the topper). Still need to install some good gaskets around the tailgate. I drove through torrential rain a few weeks ago...
