I have the Wildpeak A/T Trails on my FX4 as well, and they've been great tires (while they last - more on that later). I've got 3 winters on them and they've had no issues with grip (unlike the Pirelli garbage that the truck came with), low road noise and a comfortable ride. I've been averaging...
How are you liking the AT4's? I've got Wildpeak Trails on mine right now but they're nearing the end of their life. Looking at getting a 1.5" ready lift kit as well.
Yes, the front window of the topper is removable for accessing the sliding window on the back of the cab. The topper is held on with 4 clamps that can be relatively easily removed, and then disconnect the wiring harness. It weighs around 250 lbs IIRC so not something you'd want to take off and...
Wondering what your feelings are on the Toyo's as far as traction goes. The pirelli scorpions that came on mine aren't cutting it on snow and ice. i'm torn between them and the Wildpeak Trails.

I got everything at Menards, and used a few scrap pieces I had laying around. It's a 4x4 1/4" ply on the bottom, 1/2" for the top and the drawer bottoms. The vertical walls are 1x8's ripped down to 7" and the drawer sides are 1x6's. A full sheet of ABX sheathing is running ~$35 here, and about...
The snug top/Ford licensed topper. So far I have no complaints or issues. the only water i've had has come during a car wash, and coming around the tailgate (not through the topper). Still need to install some good gaskets around the tailgate. I drove through torrential rain a few weeks ago...
With no one offering a truck bed drawer system yet (that I could find) I decided to build my own. About $100 worth of lumber, and now I have plenty of room to store tools, tow straps, etc without having to empty the back seats/remove car seats. Overall height is 8", so the front half of the...
