As of today, my maverick has been in production 29 days. And Ford has no idea where it's at or what is holding it up. Maybe next week they can find it and finish it.
My MAV was in production as of 5-13-22. I checked with the "Order track" site yesterday and it came up with "built waiting for shipment". No notice from Ford. I called CS and they verified. I will update status on the Mav blog.

LMAO 😂 absolutely not a chance in hell. A 25 percent mark up?
That's my prediction hahahaha - Its not really a 25% mark up considering the REAL base price is 21,500 Just because Ford uses fuzzy math to say LOOK a truck under 20K doesn't mean that's actually true you have to add the 1500 in for "transportation costs" that will certainly go up. I believe the hybrid was somewhat underpriced to start. In the almost year I've waited for my Maverick I've seen the prices of tires, glass, paint, steel, aluminum, shipping, fuel, utilities, - basically everything go up an unbelievable amount. These costs will have to be paid by someone and that is always the consumer. It will be interesting to see not "if" the base MSRP goes up but how much.

I fully expect a 5-8 percent increase on the XLT and Lariat, but not the XL. The XL will retain its sub 20k price tag with a $2k “transport” instead of $1.5k. The luxury packages will get it the hardest with a 10-15 percent hike. A fully loaded Lariat will likely be $2-3k more and a base XL will be $500 for those “transportation costs”.

The maverick HAS to retain its competitive price advantage. It literally has no market to go up $5k. My prediction

I have also watched things go up in price at stupidly fast paces

Since I like to give a silver lining to my wait. I know some have more to worry about as far as a replacement vehicle, but the longer I wait, the more money I save for a down payment. Yeah I know gas prices are eating into it, but that would happen whether I ordered a truck or not.
I just never thought I'd be waiting going on nearly 9 months.

I don't understand the surprise here. You've been told for a while now that July will be a very low production month. That is what you're seeing now. A few weeks ago they were scheduling 4-5 weeks at a time.

Some of you need to chill. Seriously. It's exhausting. This is something you want, not something essential to life. The constant whining from a bunch of grown ass men (and women) is not a good look.
That's a good point. Please call in and drop you lux package and any other constraints. You want them, but they aren't necessary.

Im completely game. What’s your proposal?
we could go 100.00 just to make it interesting - the wager - the xl maverick hybrid 20K base - transportation cost may or may not go up

Checked my maverick status this morning. They are saying it was finally built on May 29th. 1 whole month to build. Waiting for shipping. 1 step closer.

HA. Me too. Just got the email from FORD that my MAV is on the rail. Went into production on 5/17. Estimated delivery is 7/2 - 7/8 2022. Order placed on 7/1/21. 12 month journey.

Q: what do you call a 2022 Maverick Hybrid that you won't get until August?

That can't be right, my maverick is scheduled for May 31st...
When did you get your original scheduling notice and window sticker? I got my window sticker just over 3 weeks ago and haven't been built yet. But apparently that's the case for tons of other people that got scheduled 3 weeks ago too.

Exactly, the production number for July was under 3k so two weeks of normal scheduling and then the 3 week pause. Hopefully @fordvideoguy can give us the August numbers we'll be able to get a good idea if we will be pushed to MY23. At this point with a late Oct order with Lux package, figure there is a 85% chance of being pushed to MY23. My only hope is if during the last run of FE that they need some Lariat Lux to finish out the batch.

Did get a new x-plan pin number in case the truck arrives after Dec 1st. They told me I'm allowed 2 pin numbers a calendar year.
