Is this a joke? Honestly I don't know if it is or not. $40k for a truck with far less power than most midsize trucks and about the same mpg. I mean goodness its not even AWD for $40k.

I went to a Kia dealer and looked at a Seltos a month ago. When they showed me the price I asked why it was so expensive that's when they told me they were adding a $2,000 as they called it market adjustment. About 50% of the Kia and Hyundai dealers around here are doing that on the hard to get vehicles.

I mean to each their own I guess. I would rather get a Ridgeline/Ranger/Colorado/Tacoma for that money. Or wait 3-4 months for a 2.0 Maverick for $10k less.
I guess I would ask why you need a Maverick substitute. I watched Raiti's review of the Santa Cruz (most of it anyway) and that's about as far as my interest made it. If Hyundai set out to make a truck uglier than the 1st gen Ridgeline, they succeeded. And that was a fairly high bar.
