I just filled up today crossing the state line into Georgia since they suspended the gas tax. I got a really good number since it got warmer recently.

2.0 4K Lariat. I just did a 4 hr round trip, 80% highway 20% city. Speed was 55-65 mph for most part, couple of WOT passing cars, and temperature was 0C (32F) on no ethanol 91 octane. Had 2 adults and about 150 lbs in the bed. Round trip was 8.1 L/100 kms or 29 mpg.

Drove this thing around doing work yesterday. Made 5 stops. 26.2 MPG on the computer after 102.4 miles over 3 hours and 14 minutes.

I disabled auto stop/start.

Driving conditions were mostly highways with stoplights and some suburban neighborhoods.

I was pretty conservative on the pedal. Only really gassed it 2 or 3 times (and each time I did I saw my average MPG immediately plummet in real time).

I'm pretty pleased so far.

My CX-5 would get somewhere around 27-29 MPG in the same setting... except it had waaaay less power and you had to floor it everywhere you go. Lol.

Just passed 1100 miles on my Maverick. Fluttering between 27.1 and 27.2 mpg. On short highway trips I'm getting over 33 mpg. With gas prices being what they are, I'm trying to stay in "Eco" drive mode as much as possible.

I'm only getting 21mpg according to the computer. Is there something wrong?? Even city mpg should be 23 and mine is combined between city and highway. I'm using eco mode as well. Are you guys really babying the acceleration or just driving it normally??

I got 27 mpg on my first couple tanks using 87 octane. I tried 89 octane and I’m getting 30.3. I have an XLT 2.0 ecoboost with AWD. 75% rural and 25% city driving. I always shut off start/stop and drive in Normal mode. I haven’t been on an actual highway yet but my commute is mostly on roads with 45-55 mph speed limits

That seems low. I’m not babying it but also not WOT in Sport mode.

After a.few tanks I get 9.5L per 100km to 10.5. That's 92 and 94 octane 87 is the same. Just runs better on 92. Smoother more power. It's an fx4 with tow package so no eco mode it's 21 to 23 mpg. That's slow speed up and down hills no braking no stopping

Not as good as I would’ve liked.

Mixed 50/50 Hwy/City. 23.1 MPG
4200 total miles.

Still really like the truck though. 😊

Filled up earlier today….. 15.75 gallons. 459.4 miles. = 29.17mpg. The trip display indicated 29.4 mpg so fairly close.

Driving for this particular tank of gas was 80+% highway driving, a little higher than normal.

I’m just under 2900 miles and the trip display shows 28.1 mpg. Have to say I’m pleased with the fuel economy. Starting about a month ago I started driving in Eco mode.

My MPG still blows (Lariat, AWD, 4K Towing package). At least 60% highway (maybe 70-80%) at average 70 mph on the highway, and averaging 22-23.5 mpg for the last 7 fill ups going back to mid January.
