I had a great experience. Park Ford of Mahopac. Clear communication, zero games, zero add-ons, knowledgeable, positive. I paid sticker and 0%/36 which I had applied for back when placing my order. My total wait was 6 months.

My wife and I were at the dealership for about an hour total, and half of that was our salesperson going over the ins and outs of the Mav. The papers were ready to sign the minute we walked in the door. If we ever buy another Ford, I know what dealership I'm going to first.

Picked up my Maverick today from Bob Bell in Glen Burnie, MD. Good experience. No extras added on. Gave price protection and 3 yr 0% financing without having to ask.

Really glad to hear that you had a good experience, too. Maryland seems to be holding its own with reputable dealers. We’ve only seen one other Maverick on the road, and that was near us in east Baltimore county. Hope you enjoy yours as much as we have.

I’m scheduled and might get delivery toward the end of June. After hearing all of these terrible dealer stories, I’m having anticipatory anxiety about my pick-up day. I don’t want to walk in with my pumped up Red Bull attitude unless really needed. So far, my dealer has been communicative and professional. Is that a sign that I’m in for a fight? Can anyone share their good dealer experience?
Keep in mind that for the most part the only people who are going to post a dealer review here are angry people lol but, by contrast, a good chunk of the rest of us are at least content with our dealer experience. Mines been great so far. Truck is being prepped for me this week. Ill do a review of the whole experience once i have the keys

When I ordered mine, I didn't hear anything from the dealership after I placed the deposit at all. I just got the Ford tracking emails showing it went into production/etc. In fact, when the tracker showed that it was delivered to my dealership, I called the dealership the same day asking about it. The salesman got back to me and said it was sitting in the parking lot with plastic wrap still on it and he didn't even know it got there.

Luckily, they had it ready and washed and full tanked for me in a couple hours and I ended up getting it for MSRP. They installed door edge protectors and tried to charge me $285 for that but I simply said I never ordered the vehicle with those and the salesman took that off the price so I got those for free. They even had a $2000 market adjustment sticker on the window I'm assuming to provoke a sense of urgency for me to buy it but I never paid any markup. The salesman didn't even mention that to me. He just said that if I don't buy it he has a list of 15 people willing to pay a $5000 markup to get it.

Galpin Ford in Van Nuys, CA.

I guess it was a good experience considering the way other dealerships are ripping people off but I didn't feel they had to throw the potential markup in my face. I wouldn't have ordered the truck if I wasn't willing to buy it. And I simply wouldn't have bought it if they even charged me $1 markup.
I asked Galpin Ford about additional markups on my order. This was their response: "At Galpin there is zero market adjustment on ordered maverick. The only dealer options we add to every car is the door edge guards which are only $347, so you will be paying MSRP plus you know taxes and registration fee."

I ordered the Maverick XL Hybrid from Galpin on the last day of ordering last November. So, I expect to wait a while before I see my build date. However, I was pleased to see that they removed your door guard costs. Hopefully, they'll do the same for me.

I took delivery of a XLT hybrid w/lux from Chapman Phila on Saturday. Below msrp just like Ed said in this forum way back when. No extra fees or add ons, no hard sell on extended warranty. Very pleasurable experience. Made sure I was set up on the app so I'd get my points. Can't say enough good things about that dealership and the salesman I dealt with, Alex. They kept me informed of the constraint items & no push back when I kept those items on my build. They also had my fits kit waiting w/o me needing to ask for it.

I had a great experience at Lithia Ford in Boise, ID. I ordered my Maverick XL Hybrid on 7/24/2021. It arrived at dealer on 4/19/2022, and I picked it up the next day. They were great and honored the MSRP that we agreed on. They even took $500 off for military appreciation. I have purchased over 18 cars in the past 20 years. This was my first Ford and was my first car from this dealership. The whole buying process was one of the best if not the best.

Glad you had a good experience.
Quick question: Is the fits kit only for Hybrid models?

Ordered from Mac Haik Southway Ford in July of 2021 received it in May 11 2022. They were awesome I was nervous of them adding mark ups or dealer fees but nope. The price we signed off on last year was what I walked out the door with. Was in the dealer a total of 1.5 hours with no hassle. They even covered for me to tint the 2 front windows and eyebrow and gave me a free year of car washes. On top of all this the price we signed off on was 2,000 dollars below MSRP and when I picked up the order I qualified for the $750 student discount. All in all it was the best experience I have had a dealership.

Yay! I ordered from the same dealer and am expecting delivery the first week of July.
Lariat Lux Hybrid in Cactus Gray ordered on August 2nd.

Did they also honor the financing deals that were available on the date you ordered your truck?
