I spoke to Chapman two days ago and they confirmed 182 unscheduled orders. I still think it's possible they're fulfilled.

For reference, I also have an order at Philly with Ed. Twin truck. That order is unscheduled/clean.

I emailed with them today, and they still had 7 remaining April allocations that have yet to be scheduled. 96 unscheduled hybrids, 85 unscheduled Ecoboosts (181, close enough to the number you got... ;)

I assume this means that at least for Chapman, most (all?) of next week's scheduling will be from that pot of remaining April allocations. I suspect the reason they didn't have any schedule over the past few weeks is that many of the remaining unscheduled early orders (which are next in line under the new FIFO approach) are constraint-laden, and thus still can't be scheduled. Hopefully as we go from Spring to Summer some additional components become available...

I still want someone to explain to me why a December Lariat Lux Ecoboost would be scheduled before an October Lariat Lux Hybrid.

Tim alludes to this in all of his videos. Saying you *might* get pushed to 2023 if you ordered a fully loaded hybrid in October/Navember or if you ordered a fully loaded Ecoboost in December/early January.

I can't wrap my mind around that.

All other things being equal, because they are constrained on the hybrid powertrain, but not the Ecoboost powertrain. But if they are from different dealers, or different regions, allocations come into play as well. Tim has also mentioned that at times it seems they schedule one particulat powertrain and/or trim level in bunches, so maybe they were just in an Ecoboost phase at the time?

The other aspect is an Oct/Nov hybrid is the last in the queue of all the hybrids, whereas there were still a lot of EBs ordered after December. Further, Ford always expected to build way more EBs than Hybrids, so they likely have plenty of surplus EB parts available (even if it's Just in Time), since they over-ordered EB components and under-ordered hybrid components.

My Nov 2 order for an EB XLT Lux DIBL CP360 AWD from Horsham was scheduled a few weeks ago for the week of 6/6. I was at Priority 2 for a few weeks before that. Ashlie has been great to check on its status for me every time I ask (about once a month). Now, I'm looking forward to a train ride up to Philly for a cheesesteak and a new truck!

Hmmm, hadn't thought about taking the train up there. I had planned to drive up with my son and have him drive the old car home. Might have to reconsider...

Congrats on getting your build date! I agree that Ashlie, Tom, and Kyle, & Steven have all been awesome in responding to my (excessive amount of) emails asking for updates on remaining unscheduled build counts, monthly allocations, etc.

Silly question, has Chapman released their allocation numbers yet? Silly because if you knew you would have posted. Just couldn’t stop myself from asking!
Nice Tom Petty reference BTW!

Looks like Long McArthur got only 12 allocations for May with 221 left to schedule.

Yikes.

Hopefully Chapman's numbers improve this time.

Got the allocation for the "April cycle" from the team at Chapman-Horsham today, and was really dismayed to hear that it was only 29 (after hearing the huge jumps experienced by Granger & Long-McArthur for their April allocations, I was hoping for a similar bump for Chapman).
...
But I gotta have something to hope for...

Well, pure conjecture, but let's try. Last cycle, LongMcArtur had 85 allocated units to Chapman's 29. Current (May allocations) Long-McArthur numbers show 12 for July build -- not June. This seemed odd given roughly the same backlog and Chapman still appearing to have a front-ended (June/July/Aug) order profile relative to LM. So let's conjecture that LM received a two month allocation in April (similar to Chapman's Dec/Jan) vs Chapman's 29 for May builds.

Perhaps, maybe, hoping wishfully... Chapman's May allocations will be for June builds and will continue at least in the 29 unit range. A July fall off wouldn't hurt quite so bad... Just trying to give you something before we hear now customary disappointment with the May numbers.

I almost wish voluntary incentives to delay to 23MY would appear. I'm half thinking about adding a tonneau cover to force the issue one way or another. Being this late in the cycle, there is not much reason to wish for an end of model year 22 over a fresh 23 just a few months later.

Why are we discussing “allocations” if the lying Turds at Ford are telling us, they quickly pivoted to a “first in, first out scenario? Allocations shouldn’t matter… what am I missing? I mean besides my September order build date?
