If you stack them correctly, you can get 26 in there with the tailgate closed without needing straps to hold anything down. It takes 5 loads like this to do my beds every year and is the only time I'm jealous of my neighbor's F250 SD long bed.
I'll pass this along to a friend of mine who makes various plastic gears for cars when they break and you can't buy OEM replacements. He's always looking for product ideas and can poll the shops he sells to to see if the gears become a problem. Search for 'odometer gears' and you'll find him.
They should ask, but its real easy to fix. Heat the decal with a hair dryer for a minute and it will peel right off usually. Just be slow with the peel and keep the heat on. A little Goof-Off for any residue and you're done.
My 11/2 ordered Alto Blue EB XLT Lux arrived at Chapman last month and with end-of-summer vacation, school starting for the kids then Labor Day, this past weekend was the first opportunity I had to take delivery of the truck. Let me say that, prior to this, my experience Chapman during the...
I'm picking up my Nov 2021 ordered XLT EB Lux this Saturday at Horsham and my experience so far has been smooth with everything regarding price and finance exactly as it should be. Hopefully, it won't take hours to get everything signed because I won't get there until close to 4pm. I have a...
My truck is there at Chapman right now having been delivered the second week of August. I'm going through the purchase process and, so far, everything is as promised regarding pricing and finance. I'm supposed to call today or Tues to set a pickup date. I was told about the tag situation but was...
Then you really don't want to hear that my XLT Lux EB 4K CP360 ordered 11/2 has been built and is scheduled for delivery next week. I hope your turn comes soon. The waiting sucked.
Another data point for you: My 11/2 order for an XLT Lux EB CP360 4K DIBL has been built and is on it's way to Chapman Horsham for delivery in the second week of August. So it looks like they can still build stuff, just not hybrids. Good luck to the rest of you still waiting.
I ordered the same day and got changed from a SIBL to a DIBL by the ordering system so I had to make peace with that a long time ago. Just got email saying the truck has been built and shipped with an ETA to the dealer of Aug 7-12.
So that will be over nine months from order to delivery.
My 11/2 XLT EB Lux CP360 order originally scheduled for the week of 6/6 became 6/12 and is now 6/20. So they are having fun in Hermosillo getting trucks made which implies a potential drop in production rates going forward.
Won't work like you think. Active cancellation is very good when you want to do it at a point location (like inside your ears). Trying to do it in a larger volume is near impossible because of interference from reflections and such. NASA tried it for aircraft cabin noise, but learned that it...
I'm in the majority then as the Maverick represents my first new vehicle purchase as a (soon to be) 51 year old. I've previously only owned European sports sedans (Saab and BMW) so this will be my first 'American' vehicle, first Ford and first truck. I do plan on purchasing a used sports car...
I'm seeing mostly hybrid orders outstanding from the responses. Have they scheduled most of the EB orders then? My Horsham order for an EB XLT AWD Lux CP360 order from 11/2 was scheduled last month to be built the week of 6/6. Although I never received an email from Ford, Ashlie at Horsham was...
Ok. So this area is where I live and breathe on a daily basis as a research engineer developing acoustic treatments for jet engines with a side hustle building acoustic measurements systems for various government agencies. I have a couple of things to say about the results.
1. Kudos for using...
My Nov 2 order for an EB XLT Lux DIBL CP360 AWD from Horsham was scheduled a few weeks ago for the week of 6/6. I was at Priority 2 for a few weeks before that. Ashlie has been great to check on its status for me every time I ask (about once a month). Now, I'm looking forward to a train ride up...
