100% would have gone for EV, assume performance figures were better than hybrid and it was capable of AWD and 4k tow. If not, I'd still have to stick with the EB AWD 4k tow that I'm currently waiting on.

I was really hoping to get an F150 Lightning, but that's shaping up to be a multi-year waiting game, and God only knows the cr@p dealers will try to pull on those....

I would absolutely buy an EV Maverick. Too many on here want the Maverick to have all the features as a Lighting or Tesla. The idea of the Maverick is to be an entry level pickup. It should remain that way as an EV. 200 mile range and mild set of options. Keep the price low and affordable. No you don't have to rewire your house to add EV charging unless your house still has a 100 amp box with screw in fuses. If that's the case you have bigger needs than an EV.
But this is putting the cart before the horse as Ford has yet to schedule my Hybrid July 8th order, expecting it to roll over to 2023.

I would like a plug-in hybrid option rather than all electric. I drive shorter distances most of the time so the smaller initial cost of a plug-in vs all electric would make more sense for me.

Lariat Lux equivalent options, AWD, sub 6sec 0-60, and 200+ mile range as a full EV (no hybrid) and I'm ready to trade-in today. I suspect I'd be in at ~45k, 50k+ I'm out though.

I think a full EV XLT could possibly start and be successful at ~35k with an XL base model EV at ~30k. Basically add 10k to all current gas configurations.

Your basic EV lithium battery cost between 13-14k, no way it would be under 40k. You still have to add in all the technology that an EV requires. Look at Kia, ev6 starts at 40 with a range of 310 miles.

Tesla sets the standards. You can take plus or minus 5 k for something similar.
