You still dealing with this? Last thing I want is it going off at a long red light. That is when you need it the most usually.
Nope. Installed the auto start/stop eliminator so it's not an issue anymore.

I know its a bit late, but fuse 3 is fine on the Hybrid. It technically doesn't 'stop-start,' it just shuts the engine off and goes into electric mode.
right in time, I just received the fuse kit last week and did a dry fit.
like you said, I used #3 and #6 on my xlt hyb. and it seems working perfectly both in driving and parking mode. (Viofo A139)

Today I was looking to install the hardwire kit for my dashcam and took my multimeter out and removed the panel from the fuse box only to find there does not seem to be a decent ground location anywhere near the darn thing. I'm not against running a longer wire I guess, just wondering if anyone else has tried to do this yet, and where you might have grounded to? I'll probably poke at it some more over the next day or two, maybe there is a bolt somewhere behind the glovebox I can use.
I used this one under the passenger kick panel and used the blue/red wire for constant 12v and the yellow/green for switched 12v (both about 4-6” above the ground)

Hey, so I'm in the same boat as you. Same truck and everything lol. Having trouble figuring out the fuse box - is it under the hood, or inside the cabin? If it's under the hood, how do you run wires from the hood into the cabin?

Debating getting the OBD power cable to just skip the fuse box entirely....

Inside the cab, passenger side floor against the firewall (lift up the mat and you’ll see the blue cover)

Sorry for the late reply. like bootxl76 said, it's in the foot well at passenger side. there is a big plastic panel with a fuse box sign embossed on it, pull straight out.

I got the camera working since mid-feb.

Hmm I think you may need to check your sd card to confirm, but both fuse 3 and 6 are ignition only (at least in my hybrid, I’ve tested with a multimeter). That means you’re actually not getting parking mode power?

The good news is that’s easy to swap the one you’re using for constant battery with fuse #24 since its unused by anything (dont forget to put your original fuse back where it belongs).

You're absolutely right.
I was using 3 and 5, not 6.

I installed my dash cam today and used the bolt (2 to choose from) behind the side dash piece just to the upper right of the fuse panel. This faces the passenger door. You have to remove it to run the wire anyways. I did not like the metal on plastic below the fuse panel.

Do you know which orientation the fuse tap needs to go for #24? Thinking about using it for my dashcam but haven’t gotten to testing it yet.

And if I recall #3 is constant power and #6 intermittent or are they vice-versa?
I believe both are ignition controlled per @clavicus

If you’re looking for an always on fuse, #5 or #24 appear to be available based on discussions above in this thread. I haven’t tried either yet.

Hoping someone who used them or tested can say which way the tap needs to be oriented in either of those slots as I haven’t gotten around to testing them.
