For those interested, cost was $542.02 before tax đź’¸
Here's the invoice as well. Hopefully the problem stays resolved. Looks like the part was RX6Z-5L200-A.
Summarizing for anyone searching around in the future:

I can't remember the exact numbers he gave me on the phone, but it's definitely in the hundreds of dollars for the part and labor. I was getting a couple other things done and remember the total, just not exactly what it was.
Will drop the actual numbers tomorrow.
Looks like it was the DPFE sensor that @jorl mentioned. Guess moisture accumulated in it and caused it to fail.
Will post an update with the actual invoice info once I get it (have to wait until tomorrow for them to get the part). Not covered under any warranty still on the truck, unfortunately.
Lucky yours hit under the 36k mark, hoping mine is just a sensor or something. Will find out tomorrow on mine and update here when I get the invoice.
Ugh go figure. Hopefully it won't be that much but mentally preparing myself for it. Go figure these don't pop up until right after the bumper to bumper expires.
Thanks - hopefully it's just that but guess I'll find out. Looks like what @skinnyboy mentioned vs the actual EGR replacement.
Yea, all recalls were done that I've had so far. So you're saying since they're all done, the TSB update wouldn't apply here? So possibly an actual sensor issue or EGR...
When you had it checked, was there actually an issue they fixed? If so, do you remember what it was? I've had this pop up twice now about a month apart and seems to only fire once then eventually goes away after a couple drives.
First time seemed pretty random, second time was immediately...
From what I've seen, the EGR doesn't fall under the 8/80 warranty since it's major parts only at that point unless there's specific wording saying otherwise.
Started getting a CEL back in December for code P0402 (Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) Flow Excessive Detected). Just about 40k miles on the truck (of course) and not sure if this falls under the powertrain warranty or not.
Changed the engine air filter and it went away for a few weeks then...
Hopefully it's something like a CSP for current owners. I just had my first battery replaced the other day because it failed and kept going into Deep Sleep / Battery Saver often. Wonder if we'll have to actually have it occur again or if they will just allow the update for impacted VINs.
I'm in...
Good to hear. Hopefully these last longer than the previous Lasfit bulbs I have in my truck now. So far 3 of the 4 original Lasfit tail light bulbs have gone out after roughly 1.5 years of use. For the price it's not terrible but would have hoped LEDs would last a lot longer.
I also have the same thing for mine (also hybrid) along with the engine fire one.
Looks like it’s this for 23E09:

Chiming in that it’s been a few months now since I had this done and no issues. I fortunately never got the no start condition on my February 2022 build but the dealer performed the service no questions asked. Pretty painless for the peace of mind having it done offered.
I had more issues with...
I've had to install (and re-install) a few different car seats in mine since I got it. I took the headrest off (for a forward facing seat) and then start with the top tether. Removing the headrest might help you tightening the top latch point as well.
Both car seats I've used, I could shut the...
That may generally be the reason why you're getting it. Have you ever had a complete no start situation?
Deep sleep seems to occur for a handful of reasons legitimately. I've had it occur from not really driving it much, short trips, cold weather, sitting for awhile, etc. But I haven't had a...
Does your deep sleep issue go away if you take it for a longer drive? Guessing you know all about how it works by now, but at least for me - both the recall and CSP repairs triggered a deep sleep notification (both from the dealer and after I got home) but a drive on the highway got them to...
I got this warning recently when the truck was stopped facing downhill. Once it was on a level surface it went away after a few minutes but I never got a FordPass notification.
Happened a few days in a row at the same location so I finally got more fluid to put in. Turns out it was practically...
