Same here.I've got 2 of the top 3 limiting options, nice! Time to get the old '75 F250 running again.
Increase my chances by removing options? How about I remove my options and get a build date in return for dropping options. As a July 8th order have ZERO trust in Fords allocation process.Hello All Current and Future Maverick Customers
We fully recognize there is a lot of interest and excitement about the Maverick. We are here to answer your questions and be as transparent with you as possible about any confusion in the ordering, scheduling, and production process. Rest-assured, our goal is to build as many Mavericks as we can and satisfy as many new Maverick customers as possible given global supply chain challenges. First, we have seen incredibly strong demand for this vehicle, receiving 12 months of orders in the first 3 months! This paired with unprecedented supply chain issues has caused delays in scheduling customers’ orders for production. We recognize this has caused frustration, and we are working non-stop to find solutions to get vehicles into your driveways as quickly as possible.
The unforeseen and unprecedented challenges with the supply chain are currently impacting the following optional features and packages on Maverick:
If you have an unscheduled 2022 model year retail order and have been waiting an extended period for my order to be scheduled, confirm with your Ford dealer that they have completed the required Customer Order Verification Process (COVP) and received confirmation of its approval. If your order has any of the constrained options or packages listed above, you could choose to remove them from your order by working with your dealer, and that will increase the chances of it getting scheduled sooner due to the current commodity constraints. While we understand that nobody wants to make tradeoffs, it is an option to consider if you need your vehicle as soon as possible. We will do everything possible to build your vehicle within the ‘22MY, however the dynamic supply base and manufacturing environment we are currently experiencing makes it difficult to promise the vehicle will be scheduled this year. Since oldest orders are prioritized first, orders most likely to be impacted are those that were submitted closest to the Hybrid (Nov. 15th) or Ecoboost (Jan. 27th) order cut off dates.

Thank you for your interest in Maverick and your patience during this process. Our goal is to build as many Mavericks as we can so you can get out there and enjoy the 2022 North American Truck of the Year.
I would prefer this option. I'll even take a spray in bed liner credit. Leave stuff off for a year. But I would like to have the options I want in the end.Maybe if they do send out trucks without all chips they'll be able to produce everything for 2022.

That's incorrect. Their post only alluded to shifting the allocation process from their former strictly sales-based approach.Well according to ford, there is, as of now, no longer an allocation system on maverick.

That’s fair, I’ve been in a bronco sport with that engine and impersonally am very impressed with it and find it quite peppy.I for one would not buy a 3 cyl
I ordered an XLT 4k FX4 but with none of the options Ford says might slow it down and I haven't heard a single thing. Also this is the first I've heard of a COVP. The guys at my dealership are asshats too.I just got my shipped email (2/30) for my September order. It is a Lariat ECO with the Luxury package and the spray in bedliner. I just sat pat after adding the tow package in October to my Chapman Horsham ordered Mav.
I'm not Tim. Nor do I have a crystal ball and my magic eight ball is cracked and leaking. Still, you can see what happened with my truck, and that's a hybrid with a spray in bed liner ordered in August. Thanks for responding to my question about continued scheduling on your video last night. First time I caught it live. I know you don't have a crystal ball, but are you fairly confident that those who actually placed an order (not reservation) in June and July for hybrid mavericks will actually be scheduled this year (assuming they removed the part constraints)? Recall you saying something on your video last night that Ford will be trying to get the June and July vehicles scheduled that have removed the part constraints (i.e., bedcovers, bedliners, etd.) Just seems like my dealer isn't getting the allocations and wondering how much that is factoring in?
Haha. Meant for Tim who does the YouTube videos. Congrats on getting your truck soon..I was finally scheduled last week.I'm not Tim. I should have had everything working against me. XL trim. Hybrid. Spray in bed liner. Priority code 19. But it's built and it's got an estimated delivery date of April 22-28.
So the answer is, who really knows? You may as well consult tea leaves, a ouija board or have a chat with the oracle.
One simple way to solve the problem is to start building orders first as they are more guaranteed. Then, you can turn to reservations.Hello All Current and Future Maverick Customers
