This is me as well. I've got a business to run. Just let me know when my truck is built and when it's at the dealer. That will give me enough time to call Amex to tell them to expect a $24K charge so they don't deny it. And once I do that, I'll show up, sign the paperwork, shake the salesperson's hand and let them go on to the next customer.Im gonna be the odd guy out here. I dont mind not knowing until it is actually scheduled to be built. I have to organize a whole vacation multiple flights and a visit to my dads place in south texas, aswell as coordinate time off from work which falls apart without me. If I dont have a specific deliver to Granger date I will just end up fretting and worrying about which flight to get and all that. I know its going to take forever to get my Maverick. As long as I can keep my old jeeps alive and right side up, I can wait.
In the end, this is a business transaction. For me, anyway. Some people may have an emotional investment in their truck. Not me. It's just another asset to use to make my business more efficient.
