Don't call us. We'll call you.Surprise surprise! Guess what feature is not operable today. The chat function on Ford.com will not even let you sit in line to chat with an agent. None of the "you are 4th in line". It literally says they are busy and to try again later.

+1 for showing reservations and orders prior to receiving a VIN.I want this, but on my ford.com -> My Account -> Reservations and Orders instead of "Our records show you have no reservations, orders, or purchases. Please visit our showroom for more vehicle options. "

It could start off with the phone number and instructions on how to get to the chat...
I am going to chat with Ford every Thursday from no on, for so many reasons, but pettily using Ford resources in revenge for them eliminating a cheap instance of contact is gaining in importance.
I am normally a very sane and forgiving person, but this new system is an active, intentional step away form good customer service. Up until now, I could write Ford's terrible communication off as an older manufacturer that hadn't kept up with the times. But now I know Ford is actively taking steps to make my experience worse.

P.S. - if you don't want to send out VIN emails when they are assigned, maybe just start showing our Mavericks in the Orders section of our Ford accounts? That way we can know the order is fully correct in the system??????

Im just here for the Maverick vehicle information, content of people offroading, customizations, future ford vehicle speculation, the song thread, the meme thread, and general automotive comradery. I work a hard job 40 hours a week, build/fix cars when I'm not hurting and the suns up. After that I watch tv and instead playing on facebook or all the other digital twits and twats. I get on here and look for new information about Ford cars that I like. Also I am a chatty person who likes to tell people what I know.Interesting message, coming from someone so patience, yet has posted almost 700 messages, and joined in Dec.-- 7 months after others who still have heard nothing definitive. Wish we all were able to be so magnanimous to Ford on this message blackout decision! Perhaps you just ignore anything from FMC and wait until your dealer calls and let the rest of us at least get some "false hope" messages occasionally!
Did you remove your spray in bedliner?Relying on Ford to send an email is like depending on the Vikings to win a Super Bowl. I still have yet to see one message from Ford about my order, whether it be a confirmation, FITS crap or blanket garbage email. The only thing I ever receive from them is a reminder that my FordPass balance is zero. No, they are not blocked and nothing shows in spam so it's obvious they never send them. The only way to get any solid info is to get in touch with Ford Marketing and talk to a real person. This will be my 10th and final new Ford I purchase.

I can't. It's part of the lux pack and I refuse to remove it. It shouldn't be as much of an issue because plenty of SIBL's are still getting done on similar builds that were ordered long after mine (and before they switched to DIBL's).Did you remove your spray in bedliner?
