The failure is in basic customer service. The number of people who "never hear from their dealer". The issues with ROVP/COVP. Dealers ignoring customers.
Totally agree. What has 99% of the dealers done to deserve ANY money from these customer orders ? Way back when in 2021 ...... we were told to go to the Ford website and basically build or trucks which then was automatically sent to the nearest dealership. You had to go there, give a DL and a signature and then HOPE they entered the order correctly. Once that happened they they ignore you until the order arrives - you get the phone call - umm yeah this is Joe Blow from XYZ dealership - your Maverick is here - you don't want it do you ? ( because we really want to mark it up 15K and sell it ) ohh OK well I guess we will get it ready ( Which you paid for as well )

Yes boys and girls, this is one "system" where customer service doesn't matter, Dealers on the whole just care about making huge profits and after they get your order they are pretty much done. (You might have one of the 1% dealers that actually cares ) "Could" Ford do something about no customer service - yes. Do they currently - No. Will this change yup. Eventually the model will change and hopefully this greedy, no service, dishonest, middleman will be out of the picture.
Its the original build week date - until they extend it ......... then extend it ........ hahahahaha

I am excited that I got a call from my dealer this week to say I have a build date- May 10th! I have not received a Ford email yet, so I am going to call them tomorrow to confirm!
VB Hybrid Lariat Order 8/9/21.

I just received this text from my dealer about my XLT eco, area 51, luxury, 4k, 360

Morning Carrie. Hopefully, we just got some good news. The factory is doing a "sweep" on Monday to schedule builds for a bunch of retail units. Yours should be in that sweep.🤞
When did you order ??

Same here, tracker confirms order, but nothing indicates build date week. I have a vin & build date week of 5/9/22 per phone call to Ford CS. No e-mail received as of Sunday yet.
Same situation with vin and build date for 5/2. I contacted my dealer who was able to verify in writing what the Ford rep told me about the date. Im not holding my breath for any emails as it seems like no one is getting them.

So nobody got build dates last week? Did they allocate production to dealers instead of customer orders?
People definitely got build dates, just nobody got the typical “your vehicle has been scheduled for production “ emails. Still unknown as to why.

Maybe @fordvideoguy will have some insight on it in his livestream this week?

My guess is because of the email a lot of us got on the 18th, Ford saying there is a delay.

I'm in the exact same situation. They told me over the phone my vin and 5/2 build date but not verified with the dealership at this point and no email. Did you verify it in the online tracker? Seems like they are changing the way they do things? I think it is good news that we are least have a VIN though.

I did verify with the online tracker. However, all it shows is my order and build info. It doesn't show the window sticker or have the build week.
My build week is this week 3/28 - the window sticker didn’t show up until 3/26.

If you have a VIN a build week has been assigned - contact your dealer or Ford.
