This process is worse than waiting for your first child, you know production date, built date and tentative delivery date for a baby. I waited 9 months and at order time I was told the only constraint was mudflaps. I deleted them and still waited 9 months. Going through this whole process of beating on my computer keyboard every Thursday until I received the email with a tentative production date. All the delay emails and wondering where my finished truck was located, I realized all the worrying and self-inflicted aggravation didn't do a DAMN THING to get me the truck any sooner.

You can ignore what I have relayed to you and go back to pulling your hair out for no reason at all. Remember the old adage, " YOU'LL GET IT WHEN YOU GET IT AND NO SOONER.

Looks like we all have to check with Ford Customer Service now. I confirmed over chat that I have a VIN and a scheduled date of May 2. Received no email...no call from dealership.

I'm in the exact same situation. They told me over the phone my vin and 5/2 build date but not verified with the dealership at this point and no email. Did you verify it in the online tracker? Seems like they are changing the way they do things? I think it is good news that we are least have a VIN though.

I've tried Chrome, Firefox and Edge and all I see related to chat is the following, no button to initiate a chat anywhere on the page. <shrug>

    Im the first Lariat and first hybrid for my dealer. I picked up an ecoboost out of desperation about a month ago so I’ll need to decide which one to go with.

I had the same experience. No way to institute a chat unless you already have a VIN.
But there is a number there to call 800-392-3673. That got me to a live person. But I will add that I did this at about 8:30 am EST
I just skipped the Vin entry box. Then it let me into chat. No need for a Vin#.

I just chatted with the Customer Service Rep via chat. Nothing on my end as expected with such a late order date and with several options constrained.

I have five months remaining on the lease of my 2019 Ranger. Debating whether I should sell it to the dealer now and capture the positive equity, keep the lease and extend it if necessary, or just buy it out and trade it for the Maverick when it arrives.

If I get pushed to 2023 model, I will likely be switching to a Hybrid model which may cause further delays. End rant.

When I click on that at the top of the image I attached) it takes me down to the Chat section of my picture. Unlike that shown in Message #327, there's no "Start Chatting" button on my screen.

Just chatted with Ford. The nice lady told me that I have no vin or scheduling. She said that with the lux and 360 it would get scheduled quicker if I took them off of my Oct 12 Xlt order. But I don’t want a stripped down truck. If I did I would have ordered the xl without the blue and orange interior!
