Totally agree. What has 99% of the dealers done to deserve ANY money from these customer orders ? Way back when in 2021 ...... we were told to go to the Ford website and basically build or trucks which then was automatically sent to the nearest dealership. You had to go there, give a DL and a signature and then HOPE they entered the order correctly. Once that happened they they ignore you until the order arrives - you get the phone call - umm yeah this is Joe Blow from XYZ dealership - your Maverick is here - you don't want it do you ? ( because we really want to mark it up 15K and sell it ) ohh OK well I guess we will get it ready ( Which you paid for as well )The failure is in basic customer service. The number of people who "never hear from their dealer". The issues with ROVP/COVP. Dealers ignoring customers.
Yes boys and girls, this is one "system" where customer service doesn't matter, Dealers on the whole just care about making huge profits and after they get your order they are pretty much done. (You might have one of the 1% dealers that actually cares ) "Could" Ford do something about no customer service - yes. Do they currently - No. Will this change yup. Eventually the model will change and hopefully this greedy, no service, dishonest, middleman will be out of the picture.
Its the original build week date - until they extend it ......... then extend it ........ hahahahaha
