Ford sends out (blanket spam) email -- "An Important Update About Your Order"

I got my Email speaking of delays. I ordered 10/9. The better question is did anyone not get this email and if so what and when did you order. Keep in mind though the emil could be in the spam folder for some.

I got the emails for both of the Maverick XLT orders (including one that I need to call Ford to cancel because the dealer did not) that I placed after 10pm Central.

Not sure if anyone else said what I’m about to yet because I’m not reading all 6 pages to find out…

But I received this same exact email tonight at 9:34pm and my truck shipped on 2/22/22 (order confirmed 6/30/21) and finally arrived at the Wayne, MI plant via CSX tracking as of 10pm last night. Just called the tracking number again and it said the railcar was emptied tonight at 10pm. So I would assume this is just another Ford system glitch like the people who got the emails recently that said their delivery needed more time and wouldn’t come until May, but then got their truck within like the following week. Just my opinion.

Same, J-Wieds. Mine supposedly shipped Feb 26 and I got the email. I’m not goin HAM with the tracking like you rail car guys but I assume it’s on the way.

Yes. And let me tell you the emotional rollercoaster I went through. I’ve been out of town for work, and haven’t really had service so couldn’t check my email yesterday.

WELL… we just got home from the drive back. I’m sitting on the toilet where I remember I need to see if I got scheduled! I open my email… I see “FORD MOTOR COMPANY”…. I cannot tell you the excitement that went through my body. I ran out of the bathroom, cheeks still dirty(?), to open and read the email with my wife. What I thought was going to be a celebration. And what quickly turned into my wife trying to console me while standing in the living room, pants around my ankles, and a half wiped rear.

This was quite literally the shittiest email I have ever received.

July 23rd EB XLT order by the way. No constraints. What so ever.

Yup. Everyone’s first reaction is always just to freak out. Which after everything that’s happened, can’t blame them. Not to mention I’ve done it in the past lol

But people just respond to the initial thread question with ‘yup I got it’ instead of reading through the thread and seeing posts like mine and yours (as well as @NotAnonymous) where the email could possibly not mean a whole lot and just be a generic send to all.

Not pleased with lack of timely communication. First communication from ford since before Thanksgiving. Order was confirmed over 6 months ago. I'm beginning to think I'm in the old soviet union
