That sounds very consistent with what I have either heard or experienced with Geico and Allstate. My best experiences, in terms of repair payouts, have been with MetLife/Farmers (who is my most recent former insurance provider) and State Farm (who I now use).
Now, THAT is a build that I would like to see someone attempt someday. It would be interesting to see what transmission that they would mate it to, though.
@fordvideoguy Is the 61D option now being marked as "late availability"? The sales manager at my local Ford dealer told me this last night when he attempted to add this along with the SIBL on my MY23 Maverick order. I ultimately had to opt to not add it to my order to avoid any further...
The 2023 Colorado Z71 is something that I plan on keeping an eye on if it is still financially advantageous for me to trade in my MY22 Maverick XLT when it comes out.
Thankfully, my order for a MY23 XLT got submitted very quickly after I placed my order today. Unfortunately, that may be the only part of my ordering process to be fulfilled in a timely manner! 😮💨

I wound up being informed three times yesterday of my order being built: once when I dropped by the dealer to get the latest VRR, again when Ford emailed me an hour later and lastly when my salesman forwarded me the Ford email an hour after that.
They did me the same way, too. I had noticed that at the same time, a lot of EB orders (like mine) were getting delayed in favor of the hybrid orders. I understand the fact that this was done to catch up on hybrid orders, but it still sucked nonetheless.
They must not be sending the emails out immediately upon production day scheduling because I found out through my dealer today that Ford scheduled my order to be built on 4/25 yesterday. I did/have not received an email from Ford regarding this update.
I got the emails for both of the Maverick XLT orders (including one that I need to call Ford to cancel because the dealer did not) that I placed after 10pm Central.
A few problems with that idea, based on my experience:
1) There are very few Ford dealers in AL that are getting Mavericks on a fairly consistent basis, so the pickings are slim.
2a) Most dealers in FL and GA (especially GA) have VERY bad about putting markups on any Maverick that becomes...
