Sounds like the perfect day!The warm weather and sunlight is a great motivator
Interesting, for me it's the opposite. Mostly cause I feel like the mini has a lot of crevices that trap dirt and stuff. The only crevice I've noticed on the maverick is beneath the rear window.
As for what I did today, put in LEDs for the reverse lights, fixed my drop in bed liner bowing out beneath the rear window with 3M tape + adhesion promoter (That stuff works), and finally installed the rear part of my dashcam and actually routed the wires. Probably gonna wash the cars tomorrow in the morning and maybe installed the LED bed lighting I got but gonna take the day off tinkering to enjoy the warm weather

Yes, I know where Midland is. About 7.5 hours west. Never heard of him, but I'll look him up at the library and give those two books a try. Thanks,Skeeter, do you know where Midland is? There is an author from there who writes some terrific books set in the Pecos area. I even got one autographed . His name is Patrick Dearen. Read several of his books. Really like Apache Lament and Dead Mans Boot.
OK, so not today (snowing all day). But yesterday it reached 60. As it was Saturday, kids not in school, took the old ‘92 Toyota and the new Mav down to the local schoolyard and took some comparison photos. Prior to taking delivery of the Mav, I truly thought that it would be more comparable in size to the Toyota.i gave my mav a nice warm bath, and a hand rub down (wax). she deserves it. and if anyone ask i only use turtle wax![]()
Love the comparison! More proof that Ford gave the Maverick a lot of thought in designing a mini-truck that doesn't look so mini. Bulkier and a higher stance with a hood and front end that sends the message, "Yeah, I'm a truck".OK, so not today (snowing all day). But yesterday it reached 60. Side by side, quite a difference!
