1560 mile round trip to and through Big Bend National Park. 28.4 mpg over 30:11 hours. Highway driving, in the park at 45 mph. Stop and go to stop and take pictures. Unimproved Grapevine Hills Road to I-10 and 80 mph. Fantastic truck. Total of 2950 miles on the Mav. Used ACC and Lane Centering. Got used to them and they reduce fatigue. Last day started at 7:30 am and ended at 10:30 pm. The seat was not meant for that length of time. Only negative. AWD was useful but the rad was a little lame. Too new to go hell bent for leather.

Skeeter, do you know where Midland is? There is an author from there who writes some terrific books set in the Pecos area. I even got one autographed . His name is Patrick Dearen. Read several of his books. Really like Apache Lament and Dead Mans Boot.

Actually yesterday but I took a 165 mi drive through Joshua Tree National Monument. Took the Lost Horse Mine Trail loop for an 18 mi off-road drive

today I got the front sides tinted to match factory

also added the tailgate assist.

Like the tint whoever you used matched it up well.

I installed the front Weathertech mats on my Hybrid. No rear mats offered yet, these are perfect.
I've been a fan for many years. Great coverage, easy to clean and maintain the "new" look. After a light rinse and scrub brush, finish with 303 Marine protectant.

Loaded up and went to a worksite yesterday. I love having a truck finally. Not only is it easier that packing everything in a sedan, now I have a portable work bench. Even the bottle openers are a boon, since I was cutting bolts with the wrong tools and it was way easier and faster snapping them off using those than my bare hands.

Yep! I ordered 7 months ago, not a peep. They told me they have 500 on order.

Here in Central Illinois we got 11 inches of snow dumped on us over the past couple of days. I have a smaller Toro snow blower and a large driveway so after about 30 minutes I knew the Toro wasn't going to get the job done.

So off to my father in laws house to get his MUCH larger snow blower. We loaded it up, strapped it down, and headed home.

Here it is in the bed of the Mav. This never would have been possible with the Pontiac Vibe the Mav replaced.

Here's a pic of my driveway after the job was done. Even with the more powerful snow blower it still took a little over an hour. So thankful for the bed on the Mav though. It was super easy to load/unload and strap down.

My dealer said the floormats weren’t available and I didn’t want those plastic tray style WeatherTech’s, so I bought $15 Facebook marketplace rubber mats from an Audi E-tron and cut them to fit. Besides the little nipple that locks it in place, these are molded to fit!
