It could be an imprint from the mold used to form the tire. I'd get replacements.

Its normal on the Contis go look at some Escapes on the lot they will all have similar dents

Did a post about that. A lot of info on knowledgeable people there. Im not going to worry about it. Truck drives really smooth at highway speeds so does not affect ride quality

I have noticed the same thing on one of my tires, didn't check the other tires. I have checked and these tires seem to be the cheapest tires you can get for this truck, so no wonder they are crappy.

It's normal.

And though all the cool kids like to talk about how bad the tires are, they ride fine, are quiet, and do well in the snow. I'll be the contrary opinion and say that they are decent enough tires.

This is called undulation, it's actually the strongest point of the tire where the cord body comes together. If it distorts the tread face of the tire then it is a warrantable item. It should cause no effect to the performance and life of the tire.

I would ask them to replace all the tires with new ones that don't have those indentations in them they could blow out you never know
