Saw his first video about the issue. So im planning transmission oil changes at 50k. Should be good? Dont have awd so dont have to worry about the other stuff
So many posts about issues here so I wanted to put some good info out there.
2022 xlt lux 2wd eco boost at 28.5k miles. Built in November 2021 and received November 22nd. No mechanical issues at all. Only “issue” would be that little black rubber on top of the cab that many have mentioned that...
I understand every place is different. But im in Nevada and in Reno dealers are busy until weeks ahead. Same as back home in vegas. So whats a good alternative that you guys would trust with our trucks. If i wait few weeks now its gonna take me past 6k since last oil change and dont want that...
Im in reno right now for work with my fwd ecoboost. Stock xlt tires and havent had any issues the last few days when it snowed a lot and last night there was a ton of ice on the road. Fwd with that slippery mode has made me feel safe while im here. Im from vegas so coming here was definitely...
Just replaced both front door speakers with powerbass OE652-FD from amazon. $108 with delivery and it arrived next day. Full plug and play, only thing I havent seen is you have to remove the foam ring from the face of the speaker in order for it to fit. No rattle or anything, i can turn volume...
So a youtube video popped up on my feed, another thing to mindlessly worry about 😂. But i guess the carbon buildup on some ecoboost engines is pretty bad. How often would you do it and if youve done it before in another vehicle, about how much was it?
If you do find wheel and tire replacement would you consider selling the xl rim/tire separately as to have a actual full size spare? Seen quite of few mavericks around vegas now and might be able to sell them off pretty fast. Id take one for sure if you decide
From vegas to long beach to pick up a friend then to san diego. 80 75% of the drive. Hand calculated 31.5. 2wd ecoboost. Currently at 33.3 at rosarito mexico and ill report back on the drive back to vegas “same route” with the mpg First road trip and loving it
yea i was going to have the dealer look at it for possible replacement until i saw what needs to be done in order to replace it. Ill try to live with it if nothing gets damaged
any word it its its a functional piece or just a”looks” item. The other side doesnt seem like it would actually seal the water out much so i think its kind of useless lol but if its there im sure its for a purpose.
Havent had any issues with the rubber piece like that on drivers rear side. I wash the truck on touchless drive thru wash twice a week and have not noticed any leaking into cab or anything like that so im not too worried about it as of now
Just noticed this on mine on the drivers side. Hate to have to waste time going to the dealer if its not a big issue. Idk how long its been like that but i was my truck weekly thru the touchless carwash, that piece doesnt shouldnt be a issue with getting water in the cabin right? Ill have them...
