If they bother you that much, get a different set of tires and sell those on Craigslist to re-coup the cost.
i mean it doesnt bother me at all. Doesnt affect the look of the truck. Just wondered if it was a issue since i plan on driving a lot. But if its all good then hopefully tires last me a long time

Interesting, thanks, that's good to know. Strange that my dealer told me Ford did not warranty the tires when I purchased my Maverick a couple of weeks ago.

It's an insert in the owners manual. Ford 100% warranties tires.

It’s definitely an issue with high profile tires and by association truck tires. It shouldn’t be normal and for me it’s an excuse for bad quality. I know this dimple issue is not a vibration problem but I’ve had 2 major tire issues with 2 previous trucks (Silverado and Colorado). You can read up on road force balancing but what it really comes down to is OE tires are mostly garbage. The sidewalls flex or compress at different rates around the circumference of the tire causing vibration that can’t be fixed by normal balancing. In my case I had to fight the dealer and finally got replacements. The Silverado took 7 new tires before they found 4 good ones and the Colorado took 8.

Also, it depends on the final transportation of said vehicle. If it travels on a car hauler, the straps can play a factor depending on the temperature of the air around & how tight they tie down the vehicle on the trailer & also how long of a drive they have with being strapped down.

Tire rack discusses this here:

https://www.tirerack.com/tires/tiretech/techpage.jsp?techid=32

Also there is a Ford TSB about this condition as well saying it is normal part of construction.

Honestly, like what has been said, Factory tires tend to be crap, and the best thing you can do is buy a higher quality tire and trade in/sell what comes with the vehicle.

Also Ford has a SSM about it.

SSM 50247 - 2021-2022 Various Vehicles - Tire Sidewall Wavy/Indentation Appearance
Some 2021 and 2022 Ford and Lincoln vehicles may experience a tire sidewall wavy/indentation appearance in the radial direction on one or both sidewalls. Sidewall wavy/indentation appearance is a common cosmetic characteristic of radial tire construction and will not affect the performance of the tire.

It is where the tire's zipper is located.

so thats normal in your opinion? This is new to me but if thats just how things are then ill save myself a trip to the dealership and risk having the service guy looking at me a weird type of way lol
I've only ever seen it on taller sidewall cheap tires that have very thin sidewalls with little reinforcement. When they wear out, upgrade to some Michelin Defenders or other better tires and you won't have cosmetic defects like that and get better performance to boot.

Some tires are made better than others. I have worked in different tire plants around the country, Continental is on the bottom of my list. Michelin is at the top. Just from what I have seen about the manufacturing process and the pay being more at some plants bring in better talent.
I agree 100% I had them on my 2019 Jeep Cherokee Limited all-wheel drive they are crappy and wear out real fast on chip seal roads and country roads I took them off and put some real tires on the Cherokee and threw them away only had 18 thousand miles on them if they come on the Maverick I will definitely take them off and get a better set of tires. 😲

Never saw this on any Continental tires and I've bought a few sets. I've had good luck with them. I'm currently running Michelins on my Frontier. Overpriced in my opinion.

Wait until you see those ripples on 295/75r22.5 tires. Kinda unnerving. But they still hold up.
