Someone in the Interior Modification forum found a mount on Amazon that looks to fit very well in the cubby. It's a little different than the two I was thinking of getting but this one in the Interior forum has actually been used by someone in that cubby and they included pictures.

Thank you! I'll keep it in mind in case the one I bought thru Amazon doesn't work out. I like the smaller size, but the one I got has a suction base so it's not a permanent mount. The one in your link looks like it uses adhesive. Again, a personal choice. I appreciate your reply.

You're welcome. I don't even have a Maverick yet but I'm expecting to have to try 2-3 different mounts to find which one I like better for that space. I prefer one with a suction mount but I'm open to one with an adhesive if that works better for the cubby.

If you want to keep your cubby free for these awesome unique talismans, I've just made a post about a couple mount options that give you almost the same location with an offset-A/C fin mount.

LOL. Yes, I'm betting most people on this forum don't have one yet! Someone mentioned we are in the Ordering Stuff in Anticipation Club.
I'm with you on the suction cup mount. If it doesn't work, it's easily removed. Not so with the adhesive.

Hey, that looks interesting. Thank you! I'm a bit wary of attaching anything to the AC fins for fear of breaking or damaging them, but I see how this would free up the cubby and still give you a phone mount. To be honest, with Car Play you almost have no need to look at your phone. I was thinking of using it for a small screen dedicated GPS

2023 will probably have the bigger screen to utilize the cubby space. Keep the price down! Hey let’s use these 100k fusion screens out in the shed to use them up. We can start putting the correct ones in when the shortage is over. 😂

I was thinking much the same in my own cynical mind!
