So If I ordered on 8/30 - Loaded XLT ECO but changed to a Lariat/Laoded/ECO does that move my somewhat place in line to October or original order date ?

That's the way I understand it to be. However, I would call Ford Customer Service and see what they say as far as your build date along with confirming your order change.

My hopes are low. Order date was October 9th. Hybrid, XLT, Lux Package. Dealer told me when I ordered that a conservative expected arrival date was 6 months from order. I have not received a build date yet. Fingers-crossed for today.

So what, I am tired of spending my Thursdays checking my e-mail for a notification that never comes. I am heading out to do . I will check sometime late afternoon or tonight. Makes no difference anyway no build date for me.

What I am sort of looking forward to is at some point after getting my new Maverick, Ford will e-mail me some kind of customer satisfaction survey. I forsee quite a few 1's & 2"s in my reply.

I have called Ford before- All they can see is the order # with zero specifics. Not very helpful sadly-

I wish I ordered with a dealer that knows how to exploit the allocation system like Long McArthur. 99% of the dealers have no clue. Hell, most still can't even figure out how to use email or text. No one wants to talk on the phone.
