Great...more issues. I think I will flip mine when I finally get it in 8 months. Honestly the quality has gone down hill. Sounds like cars out of the 70's.

I feel the same way...new vehicles should be tight with no rattles. You might get a few as the vehicle ages...but this is bs on a new one.Get a stethoscope (pretty cheap) from Harbor Freight and have some drive you around while you listen for the it.
I would rip my car apart looking for itnoises drive me crazy
Keep us posted!! Your description is on point! Does yours do it no matter weather or vehicle conditions?Did anyone ever find a solution to this? My Hybrid XL has the same issue. It's coming from the front right corner of the dash close to the window. During the test drive, I thought it was just a piece of paper from the plastic protection film flapping around but I removed it all and it's still doing it! I tried pressing down on the dash and plastic panels in multiple areas to find the source but can't track it down. I'm guessing there must be a loose section of wiring harness hitting the top of the dash while going over bumps or on rough roads (mine sounds like an index card lightly tapping on the dash while driving over bumps).
I'm going to blow some air with my air compressor in that area to see if it might be a small broken piece of plastic flopping around.
Well I just got mine last night and it was in the 40s. I know everything shrinks in the cold but I’ll update over the next few days when I drive it around a bit more.Keep us posted!! Your description is on point! Does yours do it no matter weather or vehicle conditions?
…so I drove today, really cold out, tons of ice, snow, and slush… vehicle was very warmed up and driving around… I think it was still there and was more noisy than before…however, it could have been all the ice/snow on the a pillars, windshield, and truck all together… I’m considering an issue with windshield or structural issues??Well, drove it in sunny mid 60s California weather and the noise was still there. I noticed my right tweeter grill is slightly protruded about 1mm in the corner compared to the left one but I don't think that has much to do with it as I tried pressing on there to silence the tapping and it didn't help.
I'll have to have someone drive while I sit in the passenger seat and really try to narrow down where it's coming from.
Same!!!! It’s the same!! What the hell is it!?Here is a video of the rattle. Turn your volume up and listen closely.
That would drive me crazy. Hope you find the source. Here is a video of the rattle. Turn your volume up and listen closely.
Try to lower the passenger window a bit…? I did this to mine it sort of stopped for a bit maybe…? My biggest concern is this…is it structural? Sounds like vehicle flexing against glass/sheet metal! Yours is exactly what mine is doing and at times can be louder or quieter based on conditions… I just keep thinking about the Subaru ascent when it came out, they recalled a few and crushed them due to missing spot welds or whatever in the a pillar/roof area I believe it was….?? If it’s something silly like some foam needed between dash… we’ll easy fix once figured out? This sounds pretty bad… maybe it isn’t? But I noticed that when I messed with my driver and passenger windows this calmed it down I thought? Here is a video of the rattle. Turn your volume up and listen closely.
