Need to post a picture… but I did notice/find the black insert (passenger side of dash) where the airbag orange light is at and the cool torx bolts (3) of them are…. It’s nice and tight until you push on the far left corner (lighted area) closest to center console is at… not an issue for me but could be noisy??

Mine just started with about 300 miles. Noticed it on the way to work this am. I’ll try and take a closer look tonight.

Any update? Mine is still doing it… it changes with speed/road conditions and temp??? I can’t place it? I think it’s coming from a-pillar/windshield? Ugh…

Mine still does it too. I'm now at about 3200 miles. It's no better, no worse. I never did take it to the dealer. I've just gotten to were I don't pay it much attention any more.

I’m at the same thoughts for now….dealer won’t find it probably and will make it worse potentially so…. Maybe over time it will be figured out ugh…

I didn't really get a chance to look into it. On the way home from the office I didn't really notice it. It was very slight. It seems to happen only when the road is pretty choppy.

It seems to be coming from the passenger side pillar/dash.

Yes, my ride home has a few choppy spots on the expressway/freeway…usually requires a lot of suspension jounce or travel… if the heat and music is running it’s not noticeable…but it’s got to be missing some padded material between dash and pillars. That plastic is hard and right against those pillars… also noticing a noise behind me in rear passenger seat area this could be seatbelt buckle against plastic side of seat… more on that later…

Try putting some a foam shim between the pillar plastic and the windshield. If that doesn't solve it, then try some foam between the dash and the windshield. Unfortunately, It's a matter of troubleshooting until you find the culprit area.

I have the same issue. Been to the dealer 3 times. Going to a different ford dealer to address problem on Friday. Was this resolved ? And if so, what did they have to do?
Hey Hopkin22-

first thanks for the update! Secondly, sorry you are also experiencing this… the only good thing is there seems to be a large amount of us with this!!…might help get a fix sooner?? So, you have had three dealers fail to find, fix, or resolve any way shape or form? Do they even acknowledge they hear it, but can’t fix? What has been there reply/response? Also, on top of this… I know it’s already a thread, I had the noisy rattle day one, hasn’t returned under the hood/gear selector… it was found to be lower fuel pressure line? Anyways, mine only makes this noise using sport mode???

Mine rattles right now on at least 3 corners: front center, front passanger side and rear (most probably) glass. I already reported about it in various threads. It drives me crazy but I just decided to live with it and turn on the radio when it starts to rattle. Good thing is that on the freeway no rattle at all, just in the city and on speeds below 50-60mph.

I see the fuse box cover is located on the passenger floorboard area and it looks really flimsy. As a test, you should remove it and drive your truck to see if this is the rattle culprit. Just an idea.
