How does the Escape PHEV drive compared to the Maverick?
The PHEV Escape is much nicer to drive than the Maverick. The Escape's suspension provides a smoother, more comfortable, and less truck-like feel. Given the choice, I would take the Escape over the Maverick for comfort. The Maverick is more practical than the Escape. I also believe the Escape's back row offers more legroom than the Maverick's.

Benton Harbor MI
Still on business?
I just learned this was a national business! As a youngster in the 60's my dad took a job in Benton Harbor. We lived for several years just down the road in Stevensville, very small town. Would go to drive in movies and stop by that Henry's and get a sack of burgers. .10 cents a burger!

As a kid this MickeyD's promotion was the BEST EVER: Say "Two-all-beef-patties-special-sauce-lettuce-cheese-pickles-onions-on-a-sesame-seed-bun" in four seconds or less and the Big Mac was FREE! No Limit!
I remember the ads showing a person in business attire getting their lunch, burger fries and a drink and change back from their dollar. The change was 5 cents. That was 1969 when the campaign started. Minimum wage in 1969 =$1.60/hr. Median income for men was about $8,600, women was much less.
Edit: the closest McDonald's to us was 25 or 30 miles away. If we were anywhere near it I begged to go but I was told it was "too expensive". So we would go to White Castle for 14cent burgers.
