I know I have not been as active as I once was. Although I have posted this a few times, I suffered a stroke a little over a year ago and as a result I lost part of my vision. My truck has been in storage since, and I still run it for a few minutes every couple of weeks.

Personally, I feel I could drive (probably better than 65% of the drivers out there), but my optometrist has not signed off yet.

Time is running out so I will have to make some sort of decision. My wife might take it, or I might sell it and end up buying something motorized that does not have to be licensed.

Was never a regular contributer to a forum until MTC. The wait for the truck and never having seen one when ordered really got me started here. A real thirst for all the info and of course updates on the orders plus any shipping info to be had. I have found it can be a real time consumer if you let it, so now I kind of pace myself. The other thing is: life can and does often get in the way. Things going on may take precedence for some time, but I always do manage to find my way back here for the latest tips and info. We lost our internet for about a month after Hurricane Helene, had cell phone problems (I do all my Internet stuff by smart phone) but health, so far has not been a factor fortunately. Mainly only post when there's info to be shared or just feel compelled to like now.

Agreed. People have gotten extremely lazy, I was recently told that instead of posting a screenshot of an Amazon product, a link would have been more useful. How 'effin lazy are you when you can't search for yourself????

What I mean is that it is socially acceptable for a geezer to use the “G Word”. Younger folk, like yourself, should probably avoid using the term.

Similar to using the “N Word”. You have to earn the right to use that term in a socially acceptable way.
