I don't post often but I pick up some good tips on aftermarket accessories and the such. I am way retired but still volunteer time on community projects and my Church. I have always done my own maintenance and repairs but I am slowing my wrench turning way down and trying to limit my self to lawn equipment. If you read a post and feel that you have already read the post, well, that's my fault. I remember seeing an interview with David Crosby, Crosby Stills Nash & Young, some years ago, and the interviewer ask David, "What do you miss most from your youth?" David replied, "My mind". I miss mine also.

As a long time and critical member of this forum, you are certainly aware of the picture rule. Some things just need to be seen to be believed. Description of model such as XXX and color such as erection green are also usually included. Just sayin...........

Yeah, his character had some good moments but overall was just too stiff.

I met Joe Mantegna sometime around 2002 - 2004. The photo studio I worked for was hired to take a group photo of a bunch of celebrities that were doing a skeet shooting event. I don't remember who most of the people were but I remember Joe was there, as well as Leslie Easterbrook and Lou Ferrigno. Lou was absolutely huge in every dimension. Unfortunately I was only assisting the photographer so I don't have a copy of the photo and I've never been able to find it online.

As we all know the demographic of Maverick Forum members tends to be on the plus side of 50. When a very active member stops posting at all I get a knot in my stomach. I tell myself they just lost interest or are to busy living life to check in. A few that were very regular commenters I haven't seen in a long time are @Maverick Country Club, @oysterville, @Ozarkbeard, @HenryFord. I know there are others that I am forgetting. If any of you long time inactive members see this just want to say we miss your input.

One has to take the negativity on a site like this with a grain of salt. Seems the negative can cause some to move on. Maybe because they traded or just because.

I bought a 2012 VW TDI and the forums were full of posts about additives and so forth to keep your high pressure fuel system from grenading. VW bought mine back at 95,000 miles for roughly 80% of what I paid for it when they got sued for bogus TDI claims. I never had issue one with it.

I traded a 2019 Honda Ridgeline on my Maverick. On their site there was all kinds of people claiming the transmission was an issue (Honda have had some issues with it). 85,000 miles and I towed with it and not a problem. I'll likely not check back in to the Ridgeline forum now.

On the other hand, I was into photography forums for quite awhile (I have a Nikon D750). I hadn't been using it but happened to check in to see where there is a recall on a small window of D750's to replace the shutter. Now I've got to go check my serial number. LOL
