Hey everyone! We're TreadAuto, proud sponsor of this forum, and we're currently doing research on portable wireless tire inflators.

We want to hear directly from you, the people who actually use this stuff.

A few questions we'd love your input on:

1. What's something your current tire inflator can't do that you wish it could?
2. Any features that feel clunky, slow, or frustrating to use?
3. Is there a feature you've never seen on an inflator but always wanted?

No agenda here, just genuinely trying to understand what matters to real truck owners. Drop your thoughts below, even a quick one-liner helps a ton.

Your ideas matter—they could actually become real features in our future product, and help more people get the inflator they truly need.

Thanks in advance!

My Ryobi is great. I plug my 4AH battery in it and can top off both vehicles several times before the battery drops even one bar of charge.
It’s fast, powerful and consistent with the digital pressure reading. But !
It consistently reads One psi higher than my trusted digital gage by Topeak.

$39 at Home Desperation.

Agreed! I bought a Badapter to use my Milwaukee M18 batteries with mine.

I agree also. I've been extremely pleased with mine, had mine for years. Works great. Not big and bulky

Backlit dial or display, accessory pocket large enough to hold all parts and cables with hinged door, flap or Velcro, cover, min 30 inch hose. Compact case to keep it secure in trunk.

I have a different model that is a pistol grip style. I find that my reading shown on the Ryobi will be high for about 2 seconds after releasing trigger. Apparently needed to allow pressure in hose to equalize with tire pressure. The air being put into tire also seems to be quite warm from compression.

I have a Viair 88p that is excellent with the exception of the pressure gauge accuracy.

One that is weather proof & small enough to fit in the bed cubby, removable batteries to allow easy charging & swaps, Accurate LCD readout with a 2 foot hose with a clip-on valve stem connector all for less than $75 including charger and battery!

I have a small rechargeable one that fits in the cubby. I would actually like a small compressor that I can attach to the bed rails and plug into the 12v. It would be nice to have it out of the way and not taking up the cubby space.

Love my Ryobi inflator as well. The new ones - like shown above - are far superior to the old "pistol" style. Had two of the old ones before and bought the new one a while back. Absolutely great and keep one on my motorcycle tail bag too.

Too big and I hate those screw on fittings,
So much air wasted when your screwing your ass off.
