My dealer, Skalnek Ford, offers free mobile service and has for a few years. I have had almost all my oil changes done in my driveway for less than $40. I supply my own AmsOil and filter.
I can’t tell from the pictures, but GM connectors have seals around each individual wire just at the connector where it goes into the block. These may have the same, you just can’t see it because of the retainer being snapped on, (the white part.)
One that is weather proof & small enough to fit in the bed cubby, removable batteries to allow easy charging & swaps, Accurate LCD readout with a 2 foot hose with a clip-on valve stem connector all for less than $75 including charger and battery!
Have you retorqued the lug bolts? The spec is rather high at 148 LbFt. I have heard this sound on other vehicles with under torqued lug bolts. It was the wheel slightly moving on the hub.
It's a personal preference for me to tip good service for any provider... and so far it has paid off in subsequent interactions. Depending on the weather the day of service, usually $10-$20, like an extra 1/2 hour of pay.
I’ve used the mobile service from my local Ford dealer several times for oil changes, tire rotations, and software updates. Jesse, my technician, is a great guy. He does all the work right in my driveway. He backed his service truck up and goes to work. He Does an outstanding job and always...
Hi have only used this method and have had no issues. I have done this on a Subaru, Kia and my Maverick. Way easier than all the “Approved” methods in my opinion.
I put a set of CC2's on my wife's 24 Telluride last fall and they have been great with all the snow we got this winter. I put BFG KO2's on my Mav a few years ago and they have been a great tire... except the older they get, the louder they have become on the highway. I will opt for the CC3 next...
As Techcar says, the pad wear displaces fluid from the reservoir to the callipers. This is normal and why there is a minimum level to account for this. if you keep it to the max line all the time, when you do a pad replacement, the reservoir will overflow all over the engine compartment if you...
I have 245/65R17 BF Goodrich KO2s with no issues in 15K miles. I would have gone with the KO3s but they weren't available yet. Speedo is off like 3mph at 80. I don't really track MPG but in a foot of snow there are no issues!
Yup. 2022 51k, I replaced my rear brakes with the Power Stop slotted rotor and pad kit complete with hardware The pads rattle in the calliper bracket. I haven't had a chance to look at it but it goes away with the slightest touch of the brake pedal.
