I'm on the fence about this.
I want to find a solution to my battery charge/discharge problems.
But right now I get more DMs from my Ford App than WhatsApp and FB Messenger combined.

If you consider the 12v battery (hybrid) not fully charging a "glitch", I have found an anti-glitch that is invisible to dealers and has no effect on published warranties. It's built-in to the system.

I first observed this anti-glitch in 2023 when my 12v battery was fully charging and the truck was behaving like a regular, well, 12v based vehicle.
But did not have enough hours behind the wheel back then to realize why it was doing what it was doing.

I connected all the dots last week.
Got my taxes filed. (Did them myself because I enjoy torture.) May have time for a write-up soon now.

Write up on the torture will likely be enough.
I've never waited as late as this year. Although done last night after getting some figures finally - almost want to visit a post office tonight to help it sink in - don't do that again.
Plus I'm curious how many goof-balls will be sitting on floor in line - using online prep site.

Back to batteries. The best deal for a replacement is Walmart. On average $10 more than Costco. The difference is Costco has a 3 year prorated warranty and Walmart has a 4 year free replacement on AGM's. Auto parts stores are $50 to $70 more than Walmart or Costco with the same prorated BS. Your going to need the replacement warranty unless you become it's personal recharge. I found that a bigger CCA lasts longer than the AGM route. My dealership has tried this and so far the bigger CCA wet cell has outlasted the AGM with ZERO Secret Charger Maintainence required. It took testing, and experimenting, a lot of appointments and 3 batteries, for 2 years to find, so far a reasonable workable solution. The service manager was great. I have the power to fix your battery. Contact me and I will make your battery the best and bigglyist of all.

If you get another warranty replacement - you will get an AGM.
i'll be testing this theory this afternoon. 5900 miles. charged to full last friday. drove 75m each day mon and tues. had all interior lights mon morning. idr tues morning. deep sleep msg at 2am wed morn. bricked this morning. been on the noco5 for 5 hours and still on the first red led. going to do my first jump after lunch and drive it to the dealer. fingers crossed.

Question: this portion of the manual says "if equiped" with the BMS. Which Mavericks have BMS, and which don't? I have 2023 Hybrid XLT.
