I guess so however "Robertson" sq drive seems better then old torx(experience) remember Ford seemed to pioneer "posidrive" the only other company that I found it on was on the door latch posts on Mack trucks,the European 3 tri (yuch) is another piece of the "mix" a long with"spider drive" ad nauseum,for petes sake munus standardize on something( anybody remember"clutch drive?
Probably a good thing, original torx is too delicate for stuff that has been installed years, picked up some corrosion or the the antisieze hardened up, meaning you need 50% more breakout torque then they were designed to take. Stripped and spiralled plenty of bits that way.
