This is probably because I'm missing something obvious, but . . . where in the blazes are the jack points on a '25?

I can see from the diagrams in the manual roughly where they should be, but when I crawled under, I couldn't find the arrows that are supposed to be pointing to them (per the manual).

I have my jack, four jackstnds, oil, filter, torque wrenches, impact hammer, and such standing by, but . . .

My plan is to loosen the lug nuts, put the jack and puck on the pinch weld midway between wheels on each side, and get it up on all four.

So where are these mythical points? a picture from underneath would be really useful!

They're just kind of by the nicks in the drip rail, behind front wheelarch, in front of rear wheelarch.

I can't offer you any photos but the arrows you're looking for are actually just triangle indentations on the bottom surface of the rockerpanel. Take a rag and clean the lower surface in the areas mentioned above in post #2. The triangles are there. You're just overlooking them.

If you can't find the arrows, just look for the pinch area where there are 3 layers sandwiched instead of 2. That section is stronger and designed to hold the vehicle weight, and the 2-layer part is questionable, especially at the front.

Someone had posted using aluminum tape on pinch weld location for the jack. Once you find them that makes it much easier to find them the second time. Especially if it is dark out and you need to change a tire.

Here are two photos from under my 25 Hybrid XLT showing the triangles (aka arrows per the Owners Manual). They are on the underside of the rocker panel surfaces.

Just curious about the type and weight rating of your four jack stands that you have as I need to get some also. How do you support the pinch weld using the jack stands? Is there a pinch weld support/adapter that fits on the top of the jack to make it secure?

I put a piece of grit tape on mine to feel the spot better when positioning my jack.

Unfortunately the pinch weld is not long enough to position a jack stand on the pinch weld while the Maverick is jacked up on the pinch weld?
