Solution to jack + stands on pinch welds: AGM Products Jack rod

For those (like me) who are conflicted about the lack of front & rear jacking points on the Maverick, I just remembered seeing this at SEMA last year. It solves the problem of placing jack stands where the jack is already placed - this adjustable rod locks the jack at a certain height, effectively turning it into a jack stand. Pretty clever solution!

Somewhere on the forum someone posted a hydraulic floor jack with a split head that a jack stand fits into. Meaning you can jack up one side, put a jack stand under the same pinch weld, and then go repeat the process on the other side with a second jack stand.

This is cool, but I’d much prefer the split-head since I can think of at least one maintenance procedure that you need to be level side-to-side.

I remember seeing that. I already own a couple of high-quality jacks and jack stands, I don't want to buy more stuff that is going to take up room in my garage.

The jack rod is super compact and you can hang them on the wall so it's a better solution in my case.

That's a pretty nifty concept. But what if you need to lift 2 or 4 points? I only have one hydraulic floor jack.

Are you using a pinch weld adapter with these?
Looks like the flat top would crush the pinch weld spot when lifting the truck?
