2026 Lariat Hybrid issues purchased with 18 miles

I used a blue fuzzy so called lint free then a yellow fuzzy then tried a rubber maid microfiber. I noticed none of these glide on these windows. I figured any left over fuzz would blow off on the highway. Going to spray at carwash then spot free spray no towel and will let you know. I think the cleaner we have used for years is spray away glass cleaner with blue lid.

SprayWay glass cleaner from WalMart or Home Depot is great for cleaning dashboards and interior trim as it contains no ammonia or petroleum distillates. We use it to clean a whole lot of things, including wood furniture that has urethane or varathane coatings.

I’ve owned 4 Mavericks and they do have a cheap interior which easily scratches and squeaks. I finally took my wife’s 24 Lariat in and they kept it overnight and tightened up everything in the dash and it eliminated 90% of the noise. It still makes some noise on cold days but we like it more every day. I drive a 25 hybrid AWD and it is pretty quite , only complaint I have about it is that it doesn’t get the mpg(only 40) compared to wife’s 24 hybrid. 46mpg.

An AWD vehicle will never get the same MPG's as a 2 wheel drive. Also check what the gear ratio is in both vehicles?

I didn't buy it so I could leave it at the dealer for weeks fixing these issues. I don't believe for a second everyone doesn't have these issues. Too much coping and sticking up for this sort of thing is why they get away with it.

I have none of the issues you mention, so I trust my experience more than your rant.

BTW - Today's average price for a new vehicle is $52K. A $40K vehicle is inexpensive.

You must work in sales at a Ford dealership. Your point is more valid than mine and the THOUSANDS of others on the Internet with the same complaints. Yes I ranted after hours of searching and seeing the same damn issues over and over. Like learn from your mistakes Ford. It's a Ford Escape with a bed not like they don't have experience. Yes this is a first world problem and when Elon Musk walks into a bar the average net worth of the entire bar patronage is billions each, average means nothing. It is not a cheap vehicle.
