It's obvious that Ford designed the Maverick for the lager screen from day 1 given the fact that they put the storage bin beside the original screen. It always looked as if SOMETHING was supposed to fill that space.
That's pretty much the consensus of most of the members. It's as though the engineers/designers didn't check the stock and so manufacturing slapped in whatever they had in order to get these trucks out the factory door.

Have to agree the 12" screen is a nice upgrade. I just can't justify the hefty price when the 8" is adequate for my needs and frankly, I think the larger screen can be a bit distracting. Keep in mind, my 2022 has the physical knobs for the heater/AC controls whereas the newer Mavericks went to the virtual on-screen controls so the added real estate would probably be more of a bonus.
That said, thanks for taking the time and effort to post your modification. Glad it worked out for you with a better than expected result.
I don’t like the controls on the screen, it’s too hard to adjust temperature or fan speed. I’ve wander onto the shoulder several times attempting to change settings. With my wife’s 24 I just reach over and turn the knob.

Love the 13.2 sync 4 screen in my 2025. I must be one of the lucky ones because I haven’t had any near death experiences due to the HVAC controls.

Yea lol; What I did notice is that this screen in the 2025 is longer then the infotainment.com.screen which I see less product cause you need to reach a lot more for screen stuff. I think the 2025 should have taken this screen not the long screen style.
This one is too tall. The 25 screen is setup where the right section you never really touch. You pick one and leave it. It's a nice upgrade for the older trucks, but I would not take this over the 25 screen. I'm sure it cost you more a screen that itcost me to upgrade from a 23 to a 25, not including the AWD & 4K upgrades.

I do not favor the taller screen as it creeps into your field of vision more than the more landscape oriented 13.2" screen.

Other than price, what's the difference between Infortainment, Panda Motorworks, OemPlus and Ford Sync4 screens?
They're basically the exact same, there's only so many ways to do the swap. The one sold at Panda is the kit from OEMPlus, which is far less than the one from Infotainment.

Too bad they don't offer just the screen update. I don't have Sync and don't need it - my other car is a Ford Escape Titaniunm with Sync 3, and never use it. I use Car Play for everything, so just the screen update would be enough, and probably much closer to my $$ basket availability.

That's a lot of dough 😳
I'm not sure if I'm living a poor retirement life or that's a heck of a price!
Save your money for a Samsung Z Fold 7 or the new tri-fold phone. Cheaper than a replacement screen for your Mav!

Looks great, price is out there. I would be happy with just the sync 4 upgrade to get rid of the dongle I have to use.
Ideally Ford should offer a software upgrade path like Microsoft does for computers. Especially with the newer cars and trucks.
