Hey everyone,

Just wanted to share a quick review of something I’ve been excited about; I upgraded my 2022 Maverick to the 12" SYNC 4 touchscreen display system from @infotainment (Infotainment.com) and figured I’d post my experience for anyone on the fence about doing the same.

Honestly, the upgrade made a way bigger difference than I expected.

The first thing you notice is obviously the screen size. Going from the stock display to the 12" screen completely changes the feel of the interior. Everything looks sharper, brighter, and a lot more modern. Android Auto takes up more space, making the menus easier to use, and the whole system just feels faster and smoother overall.

After a few days with it, it really does feel like this is how the Maverick should’ve come from the factory.

I made a video showing the screen in action and a quick follow-along of my install. It’s not meant to be a full tutorial, more just to show what the upgrade looks like in real life and how straightforward the process was on my end. If you have questions I don't mind offering my insights. :)
My video(Google drive since it is to large for the Forum): Google Drive Infotainment.com 12" SYNC 4

But if you’re planning on doing the install yourself, I definitely recommend following Infotainment.com’s official install video since they walk through everything step by step way better than I could:
And here’s the exact kit I installed:

Official install guide from Infotainment.com

I’m still spending more time with it, so I’ll post updates if anything changes long-term. But at this point I’d easily recommend it to anyone who’s been wishing the Maverick had a bigger, more premium infotainment setup.

Honestly not sure, I just went with Infotainment since they had a direct phone for customer support so I felt reassured with getting help while spending that much money. Also Infotainment.com will pay you for your old system, so no need of having it laying around.

Yea lol; What I did notice is that this screen in the 2025 is longer then the infotainment.com.screen which I see less product cause you need to reach a lot more for screen stuff. I think the 2025 should have taken this screen not the long screen style.

That's a lot of dough 😳
I'm not sure if I'm living a poor retirement life or that's a heck of a price!

You're right! It's out of center! Look at the air conditioning vents

It's obvious that Ford designed the Maverick for the lager screen from day 1 given the fact that they put the storage bin beside the original screen. It always looked as if SOMETHING was supposed to fill that space.

I own a 24 and a 25 maverick. I actually like the 24 screens better.
I 2nd this radical statement.

The OP seems to enjoy the upgrade, and I am all for a person enjoying their $ and toys. It is interesting to see what others do to their ride! If I were an audiophile, i would do this, absolutely. But, I am more of a ride in silence and listen to the tires, exhaust, BOV kind of guy. *EDIT* I forgot to mention listening to the dash rattles.

How much do they give you for your old system? I've been looking at doing this upgrade for a while now, but the price is really is what's holding me back.

Have to agree the 12" screen is a nice upgrade. I just can't justify the hefty price when the 8" is adequate for my needs and frankly, I think the larger screen can be a bit distracting. Keep in mind, my 2022 has the physical knobs for the heater/AC controls whereas the newer Mavericks went to the virtual on-screen controls so the added real estate would probably be more of a bonus.
That said, thanks for taking the time and effort to post your modification. Glad it worked out for you with a better than expected result.
