  1. App Update Kills Remote Features..

After a bit more investigation - and thanks for mentioning location as I had not checked that - it turns out that while the app said my Maverick was connected, it was not. No location, any info was from yesterday prior to the update. So I went nuclear. I uninstalled the app, disconnected...
  2. App Update Kills Remote Features..

I updated the Ford app yesterday on my iPhone 16Pro, ios26.5, to v6.13.0 and it killed all my remote options. Cannot lock, unlock, or start my Maverick via the home or watch. I’ve tried resetting everything and still no joy. Anyone else?
  3. Start/Lock/Unlock from Apple Watch (NOT via the Complication!)

While futzing around with my Apple Watch control center (Watch 9/WatchOS 26.4), I discovered a way to start my ‘23 Lariat via the watch, without needing to open the app on the watch or the phone. This may be old news to some, but for those looking for a way to remote starts their ride, this is...
  4. iOS update now wireless adapter doesn’t work

I have a 16 Pro and every once in a while when I start the Maverick up, my wireless dongle will not connect to the phone. After trying quite a few different trouble shooting "things", it has come down to the Bluetooth connecton. If I toggle the BT off then immediately back on, the wireless...
  5. Upgraded to 12" SYNC 4 touchscreen display from Infotainment.com – My Thoughts So Far (review)

Too bad they don't offer just the screen update. I don't have Sync and don't need it - my other car is a Ford Escape Titaniunm with Sync 3, and never use it. I use Car Play for everything, so just the screen update would be enough, and probably much closer to my $$ basket availability.
  6. Information Display

Nope - my Lariat got the recall and it fixed the frozen camera issue and made the entire AV system snappier. Also brightened the display a bit. Well worth getting it done.
  7. [GONE] '23 Lariat Side Badges Need a New Home...

I replaced my side Latiat badges with the Mabett side markers, and therefore have both left and right side badges to give away to someone wanting an "upgrade". Don't know what else to do with them. First come, first get. PM me...
  8. Perfect fit waterproof storage box for Maverick bed

Ah - that'll do it... thanks. EDIT: I love your window sticker. I'm a couple of years away from being an exile myself - although I'm trending towards the term expatriated.
  9. Perfect fit waterproof storage box for Maverick bed

How do you secure it? I'm talking about how do you keep someone from walking off with it?
  10. Maverick owners demographics - just curious

Boomer here, and Ford is having the same problem Honda had with the element. They targeted a much younger consumer group - the beach going surgfer crowd, but the end user ended up by-and-large being career, family oriented, adults. I had one, still do with ~300,000 miles on it, and it's my...
  11. Infotainment - 2023 Maverick vs 2025 Maverick vs 2025 Ranger

I use a wireless CarPlay adapter on my NON-Sync '23 Lariat and rarely have issues. Every once in a while it will fail to connect, but a system reset (which takes all of 2 minutes) fixes it and I am good to go for another long while.
  12. Third brake light!

My thanks to all for this info - I came here looking for this. My Lasfit brake and one of the cargo lights have burned out or malfunctioned after just over a year, and they cost quite a bit more. Of course it was on *after* I installed them, I read about others have their Lasfit's burn out...
  13. 100+ bed tonneau cover aftermarket options - compilation list 📃

I got this one (https://a.co/d/4Mh9A5E) off Amazon. It's over $400 now but was less 18-months ago when I bought it. Edit: It is less now than when I bought it. I just had to double check that. I went cheap and simple with the intent to replace it with a 1-piece hinged, but so far it appears...
  14. 100+ bed tonneau cover aftermarket options - compilation list 📃

I've been looking for a 1-piece, hard tilt up with hydraulic arms similar to what I had with a F150 I used to own. No joy. I have hard tri-fold now, but will replace it in an instant if anybody ever makes one.
