Dash rattle 2023 maverick hybrid xlt .

Drop off maverick today for 6th time for dash rattle, replacing dash.
They pull everything out down to the firewall. To put new dash in.
They did the foam tbs on window and removed window pags, and a few times put foam multiple places.

Rattle is where the windshield duct joins the dash on mine. My guess? It's the middle bolt...but I'm not sure that I'm willing to have them rip apart everything to fix it.

It's a truck, not a Limo! Trucks shake, rattle, and roll. Next time, buy a Lincoln, or Cadillac.

Oh my! Quite a demolition here. My truck has rattle, and sometimes a knock, coming from dash center right area. Dropped to dealer, they had truck 5 days, no progress report when I asked, nor seen any movement on Ford Pass location map. Finally on 6th day, no communication, I went to retrieve the truck. And it’s rattling. Ridiculous how dealer handled this. Bunch of excuses.

Anyway, I might first try those tricks others doing … foam, straws. Easy stuff to do. If not, pull the glove box out, do visual, check if anything loose. I am even tempted to remove those plastic windshield guide pins someone did, claiming it got rid of his rattle. Others who had windshield replaced, the jobber removed those plastic guide clips and rattle disappeared.

If this truck on its last leg, I would try buying a case of that Good Stuff spray foam, just fill entire under dash space of foam. If not rattle proofed it, better insulation there.

2023 hybrid with 4500 miles
They had it 6 times trying to fix it. Rattle at windshield heater vents in front of steering wheel, I could push on the vent area and get it to squeak but also rattle under that. Anytime driving in town squeaks and rattles been a joke. Have many videos. I asked about spraying it with wd-40 or something else but that would void warranty. Had a 2022 had so many problems I lemon law it. But they did change the dash that did fix it but didn't have much longer so not sure if it rattle came back.
