If you are going to keep your truck for 7 years, I would get a 10 year warranty from Granger (first 3 yrs don't count) this will keep you covered, then sell your truck with 3 years left to transfer to the next owner. If you trade in, you'll get a rebate on the remaining years. Who wouldn't want to buy a 7 years old truck with a 3 year warranty, just like it had when it was new!

Well I bought the 5 year warranty from my dealer and they matched the Granger price.

I on the other hand have had several warranty jobs done already. Glad I have the extended warranty, I’m just waiting for the next thing to fail at this point. Without the warranty I would be out over $800 on parts and labour.
