I got a 2024 Maverick, 3065 miles, when should I get my first service? 3k or 10k?
I couldn't find a simple maintenance schedule in the manual. Any help greatly appreciated!

Near the back of the manual - under Scheduled Maintenance.

Pretty clear. Besides the hundreds of threads on it.

Your vehicle comes with the Intelligent Oil-Life Monitor system, a message appears in the instrument cluster display at the proper oil change interval.
This interval may be up to one year or 10,000 mi (16,000 km), hybrid vehicles could exceed 10,000 mi (16,000 km).

When the oil change message appears in the instrument cluster display, it is time for an oil change. Make sure you perform the oil change within two weeks or 500 mi (800 km) of the message appearing. Make sure to reset the Intelligent Oil-Life Monitor after each oil change. See Resetting the Intelligent Oil Life Monitor - Vehicles With: 4.2 Inch Screen.

I just hit 2500 miles and am about to do my first change, I like to do the first one early to get rid of anything left from the manufacturing process and break in. I actually would have done it in the 1500 - 2000 range but I am going to put in the winter weight oil and was waiting for the temps to cool down.

I'll be doing my first oil change at about 2,000 miles.

If 2000 is that important of a number - make sure you track how many actual engine miles, or you aren't waiting enough with a hybrid.

I did my first change at 2K then another at 10k. Next I'm going to wait for it to tell me.

That's the original turbo direct injection 2.0 and not the redesigned 2025. Either way, I would change it every 5k if you plan to keep it for the long haul. I go 7500-10k on the hybrid.

Change it now (break in done) and every 5000mi after.

Ford recommends 10,000mi/12mo (whichever comes first) for Normal (perfect) conditions or 5,000mi/6mo for Severe (normal) conditions.

Ford makes it simple - although hard to find in the “Manual”.

I wouldn’t go off the OLM. Change it now and then reset one of your trip counters and change every 5k with full synthetic. Your turbo will thank you. That’s how I keep up with mine personally.

I just did mine at 1260, i took it real easy for the first 800 miles or so, and then ive been driving in sport mode pretty much every trip for the last ~500mi.

It probably wasnt needed that early, but it gives me the warm and fuzzies knowing it's done, the oil was on sale from costco a few months ago for $30.

Next one I will try to do at 5k, and then every 5k from then, which should be about 1x a year for me.

Same. It’s like you’re my brother from a another dealer.
