Boomers are born through 1964, not 1960. ✌

I was just about to type the same thing.
Me 1960. There is another group born 1954 to 1964 as Generation Jones. Didn't think its referred to as often. It appears if you are born in this time range not fitting with people in the 50's and def not Gen X.

It may be that we Boomers just missed our small LUVs, Couriers, etc, so when the Mav came out, we pounced!
Gotta admit my '83 DATSUN pickup was my first taste of compact Japanese pickups. The reliability blew me away. Followed it up with two more Nissan pickups -a '94 and a 2010. Both gave me reliable service over the years. Hoping my '25 Lariat will renew my faith in 'Detroit Iron' (with a Spanish accent).

1957 here, only Jones I’ve heard of was ‘Basketball Jones’ by Cheech & Chong!
And we cannot forget Tom Jones! He helped make the '70's the sexiest decade! OK, A little bit. Farrah Fawcett helped a big bit!! (.)(.) 👍 ✌

I always worried about our dog. The game was OK so long as only two players and you walked back and forth.

The latest division changes later boomers, after '55 and before '65, into "Generation Jones". (Google it.) Basically too young to attend Woodstock, but a bit old to grow up with ubiquitous computers or cell phones. Totally makes sense to me - I was born in '62 and never had anything in common with older boomers; felt more like a Gen X (but not quite). Our stereotypical toy was the OG Hot Wheels (Spectraflame paint, red line wheels!) and Schwinn Stingrays. OTOH kids a few years older were identified by Davy Crockett coonskin caps.

It's a pretty new thing. But as someone from the middle if it ('62) I always thought lumping my gen in with boomers wasn't accurate, so I was glad when I saw it.

This is a sample size of the forum not necessarily representing of Maverick owners. This forum tends to be heavily skewed towards retirees whereas the subreddit is probably 30 years younger.
