Ha! Got it, strange though, I was trying to get to it yesterday and only got a detailed description of the OS. This morning I woke up and opened the phone to a notice, "Upgrade to iOS 26", strange. So I did, took forever on my 16 Pro, but it's on there. Very different. I haven't seen what it looks like on the Maverick yet.

I am lucky. I bought A MyQ bridge about a year before Chamberlain decided to quit playing nicely with Apple. The bridge allows my chamberlain opener to work with Apple HomeKit so I see a widget on my CarPlay screen to b e able to open my door. I can also ask Siri to open it. I won’t buy another chamberlain opener unless they adopt the Matter standard which would allow it to work with any smart home system.

You are lucky! Yes, totally agree that Chamberlain is the bad guy here. They're nerfing their product's API to force users to use their app and see the annoying ads throughout their app. It's Homekit capable but can't join another Homekit hub? C'mon Chamberlain! I'll be buying a Meross to circumvent the Chamberlain interface completely and won't buy another Chamberlain product until they start playing nice.

The MyQ app lets you open and close but it’s only on the phone and there is no MyQ on CarPlay nor widget. I don’t like messing with phone while I drive.

You have to plug in your iPhone to the USB ports under the HVAC controls.

Carplay is an iOS function under settings. You configure it there. The app is car scanner that offers the text screen with the obd2 data assuming you have a Bluetooth obd2 gizmo.

Thanks, I don't have an Bluetooth obd2 gizmo , but I can set up my iPhone once I know what I'm looking for. I'm an older guy and not too great with all the new tech.

Go to SETTINGS on your iPhone then to GENERAL, then to CARPLAY to pair your iPhone with your Maverick. You can connect with a cable or through Bluetooth (pretty sure your music must be playing through Bluetooth if you don't have the iPhone connected with a cable). You need to go into the PHONE settings in your Mav, and find the CARPLAY setup. Between the Mav and the iPhone you should be able to follow the directions to get CARPLAY active. See how far you get with that, and if you still haven't got it working come back here and we can try to walk you through it.

Yes it does. I have been using this app with Carplay for a while with no issues.

I have not messed with my screen that much. I do have an iPhone. How do I get my screen to look like that? Do I have to sync my apps and my phone to the Maverick?
