Oh, I can do that, I just assumed it was a wifi hook up, it does play my music without a physical connection.

Well, I plugged it in and got it lined up, but Siri says to set up your car play, push and hold the voice talk button on your steering wheel. Anyone know where that is?
Also I bought a Scosche MagicMount ChargePro window/ dash mount. The cord makes the phone upside down without something like that. I'll try it and see if it works.

Can any widget take up the whole screen? I know iHeart Radio can. It would be nice if something like Microsoft Teams, Reminders, and Notes could occupy the whole screen.

I have to admit, as much as I wanted the larger screen, I haven't maximized it yet. I've enjoyed it, but I haven't explored all that can occupy it. Thanks for the post; I'm learning a lot.

I've confirmed that you can bring up the hybrid battery charge info and display it on CarPlay via a Bluetooth ODB2 dongle. I used the free Car Scanner app, and splurged for a better Bluetooth dongle.
You can display up to 8 lines per dashboard page. Text only on CarPlay (the app has charts, graphics, etc). Nice to see what's going on with the charge.

Maybe I'm just a dimwit, but I cannot figure out how to get the sensors I want to display to show up. Can you give me any insight on how to get the screen info you have here? TIA.

When you open CarPlay click on widgets and mine shows available widgets and at the top it shows stack 1-2-3

Press the presto expando button in the top left corner of mav display when on the widget screen, and carplay will go into wide mode.

Wouldn't it be neat if someone still made these from real wood? They could just use a plastic kit for a pattern. Not easy, but cool!
