Just saw this on my FordPass App and also a post showing the actual CSP on Facebook.

After 10 yrs or 150K it's likely down to normal wear & tear anyway, or at least almost impossible to prove if manufacturing defect. What if you are not experiencing front-end acceleration vibration (how bad is it?)? Will this CSP expire at some point or is this open-ended, or will they just replace them on request?
Thanks for the reply. I only have 15k on mine, but if these are gonna wear pre-maturely, seems anybody with a Mav built in the timeline should be offered the replacements. After 10 yrs or 150K it's likely down to normal wear & tear anyway, or at least almost impossible to prove if manufacturing defect.
You saw the picture?
If you are past 150K, get it done by next summer.
who wants to guess answers to these questions : (1) I had one half shaft replaced a couple months ago, it rides fine now, but per the notice they say that both need to be replaced - anyone think I can just wander in- point to the previous service and expect them to replace the other one ? Or Do I have to wait for the other one to fail and then take it in and then get that one replaced? (2) I'm thinking this is not truly a 'one time' free replacement - doesn't the 5/60K drivetrain cover this anyways? Don't we get these replaced as many times as needed until the guarantee is up? Thanks.Just saw this on my FordPass App and also a post showing the actual CSP on Facebook.

it's gradual and gets worse, you'll notice it on heavier acceleration on the xway starting around 40mph, first you'll think it's just a bumpy road surface eventually you'll realize that's not it. When you coast you won't notice it, on deceleration you won't notice it, when you ramp it back up you will. It's a slow gradual worsening, when (if) you get it take it in.What if you are not experiencing front-end acceleration vibration (how bad is it?)? You are most likely correct. This is just short of a recall for all models up to 2025This obviously affects way more than the 22 model year. I'm thinking they just don't have the inventory to handle all of it yet so they are rolling this out in phases.
almost 57k here and driven relatively hard at times.Ford covers the CV axles under their 5/60k powertrain warranty IIRC so those of us with pre-redesigned axles should be able to get them replaced for free anyways as most of them fail in the 20k-30k range.
