Massive shoutout to @EONR24 for helping me get Global Windows functioning on my 25. Got most of the other Forscan tweaks I had before but this one remained elusive and is one of my favourites.

It’s great to have this community to help us tweak these trucks and make them our own.

Keep on helping each other and coming up with cool tweaks.

Just waiting for DD to make the fog lights so I can have cornering fog lights again. 😝
Well put about the helping community, and getting the Global Windows operational on the 25' Mav is an A+ achievement thanks to @EONR24. Splendid job, hats off!

I finally got around to testing the Global up+down. Enabled BCM and APIM options, but I don't see the DDM and PDM modules in Forscan on my 2025 Lobo.
Is there some trick or 'beta' version of Forscan Required? I'm on version 2.3.66 currently, and that is the latest I see on forscan.org at this time.

Maybe I need a different adapter? (I have one of the cheap ELM adapters with manual HS/MS switch that has worked for everything up to this point.)

After enabling APIM, I do see the Windows options in Vehicle settings, so I can confirm it took those changes.

I'm unable to even get Global Down to work, with all of the Global options in BCM and IPC Enabled. I even enabled the Global Open Personal 1 - 4 options and had no change when using the Fob. (Short press unlock, then press and hold unlock for 3-5+ seconds.)

I understand my Lobo may not have the Global Close functionality because it doesn't have the 'Auto-Up' switch, but expected Down to work, since 'Auto-Down' does work on it.

Are there others with NON-Lariats with Global Down working? XLT or Lobo models?

So it’s the same thing with the 2022-2024 as the 2025s. Basically only Lariats come with the Driver and passenger door modules. So global open and close will only work with Lariats. No one has found a way to enable it on XL, XLTs. I would imagine installing the PDM and DDM modules, wiring harnesses, along with window switches and programming the modules could get it working but that is a lot of work to do that.

I’m guessing the lobos do not have the DDMS OR PDMS installed. If you send me your vin I can double check and see if you have them installed using fords website.

It’s funny because my 2015 base model Focus ST has the global windows enabled and works great. I even tried swapping the window switches into the maverick from my focus ST but the wiring harnesses are different lol

Ty. After doing some more reading I narrowed it down to that. After I went out and tested the "auto-down" and found it only worked on the Drivers..makes sense. (I have the 'cheap' 402A Lobo, I wonder if the +$5k model has it.)

I also had it on my '15 FoST, and i actually realize now that I miss it a bit. Even if I didn't use the Global Up/Down from my remote that often, it was actually convenient for manual operation, a quick one-onethousand hold and you'd have 2 windows rolling down all the way, or most of the way really quickly.

Oh well, I'll get over it.

So I have the Lobo high. It has auto-down on all the windows. I’m struggling to get global down to work as well. Very frustrating cause like you said it works great on my focus st.

I got global windows up and down to work with the 2025 lobo high. I went into bdycm and changed global windows open/closed with remote to enabled, and changed global windows open/closed vehicle to enabled. Also changed global close/open initial value to enabled. Then went into the ddm module and rewrote 740-02-08 to xxx0-xxxx-x. Last I went into the pen and rewrote 741-02-08 to xxx0-xxxx-xx. Now if I could only figure out this damn seatbelt chime.

Good work on the Global windows. I'll have to look for that "PEN" module. I know I don't have the DDM/PDM due to my model choice.

You can disable seat belt chimes, i did that first day I had it home. And you can disable the on dash popup that blocks/hides the 'use last mode' popup. Thats in this original post, or the Master spreadsheet. There are some other configurations for seatbelt chimes, and i think you can even disable it with a Ford procedure without Forscan (that is how I did it initially, very similar to the Focus ST procedure with buckle+unbuckle seat belt steps), but I wanted the menu gone.

Also, disable that Door ajar chime.. :) Happy hacking.

I just returned home from travel and did the DDM & PDM 740-02-08 & 741-02-08 changed. Bingo~ Global Up now works on my 25MY Maverick Hybrid. HOWEVER, the windows all close with just one touch of the key fob "Lock" button. I expected you had to click Lock, then press it 3 seconds to roll up windows. Now I can't just crack the windows and lock the Mav with the Keyfob without all the windows closing. Is this Normal for the 25MY Hybrid?

I’ve done this as well. Crack the windows and lock by touching the door handle. If you use the fob the windows will close.

Just the way it works.

Thank you "ryan2366". I just did that - windows down, locked by touching door handle, as well as lock button on inside door pillar. Windows stay put. I just assumed, incorrectly, Global Windows Close, would work like it does on my 2016 F-150 & 2017 Lincoln, both enabled via Forscan. Information sharing on this forum is fantastic!

I believe there is an option to select holding down the fob or one press to roll the windows up.

It wasn’t until @EONR24 figured out the codes I was able to get it to work on my 25.

I’m sure there’s away. I’ll go play with Forscan and have a look

OK had a look. Now that Global Windows is working, through Forscan you can select single press or press and hold.

I was able to change to press and hold. I held the lock button till the windows went up then released (they will go all the way up unless interrupted). I pressed the lock button a second time to stop the windows at the point at which I wanted them to stay open.

Hope that's what you're looking for @KenE

Yes indeed Ryan, thanks again. I'll make that change soon. I'm confident it will work as you described, exactly as I prefer. FYI, I fueled for the 2nd time today. Had to look closely to find the fuel door release button. Lol.

I just did the "Press and Hold" option change, works absolutely Perfect. Thank You again Ryan. Of all the Forscan options, this was 2nd of importance. Number one for me was increasing the 12V receptacle timeout. Default was 4500 seconds (1hr 15min). I changed to 14,400 seconds, four (4) hours. I can power my RVIbrake 3 supplemental brake when towing the Mav behind motorhome for 4 hours straight. I never go that long without stopping for a break, wherein I can open the Mav door, turn on for a couple seconds, then back off, and resets the timer for another 4 hours. So many worthwhile changes possible. Thanks to all the contributors.
